Composition
Composition: 1 capsule contains: Griffonia simplicifolia seed extract/L-5-hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP) — 50 mg (mg), melatonin — 3 mg (mg);
excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, calcium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, colloidal anhydrous silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate. Does not contain GMOs.
100 g (g) of the product contains: proteins — 17.6 g (g); fats — 0.2 g (g); carbohydrates — 25.9 g (g). Energy value of 100 g (g) of the product — 176 kcal (kcal)/ 736 kJ (kj). Weight of 1 capsule — 376.0 mg (mg) ± 7.5%.
Biological properties
The dietary supplement contains two main components that determine its biological properties. The amino acid L-5-hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP) is formed in the human body during the conversion of the essential amino acid L-tryptophan into serotonin, which is one of the main neurotransmitters of the central nervous system.
Serotonin affects a person's emotional state, in particular, the feeling of emotional well-being. Unbalanced nutrition (prolonged consumption of foods with high caffeine content, low protein content, high or low carbohydrate content, deficiency of B vitamins, magnesium, calcium), lack of exposure to sunlight (especially in the autumn-winter period), chronic stress, emotional and mental overload and other factors can cause serotonin deficiency, which manifests itself in anxiety, irritability, depression, increased fatigue, eating disorders, insomnia.
CYCLOSONE (5-HTP + MELATONIN) as an additional source of 5-HTP helps normalize serotonin levels and reduce the manifestations of its deficiency. Melatonin is a biologically active substance that is synthesized in the body and is responsible for regulating circadian rhythms, in particular the sleep-wake cycle.
Consumption recommendations
On the recommendation of a doctor as a dietary supplement as an additional source of biologically active components: amino acid 5-HTP, melatonin for nervous and mental overload, stressful and anxious states, seasonal emotional disorders, unbalanced nutrition to reduce anxiety, improve sleep quality (helps reduce the time to fall asleep, extend the duration of sleep), correction of circadian rhythm disorders.
Consumption precautions
Do not use in case of personal hypersensitivity to the components of the dietary supplement, pregnant and breastfeeding women, children. Do not use as a substitute for a balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Before using the dietary supplement, you should consult a doctor.
Should not be used in case of use of carbidopa or drugs with serotonergic activity. If adverse events occur during the use of the dietary supplement, especially at the beginning of its use, a doctor should be consulted.
CYCLOSON (5-NTR + MELATONIN) causes drowsiness. You should refrain from driving vehicles and performing work that requires increased attention.
Method of administration and recommended daily dose
To improve sleep quality, take 1 capsule 30–45 minutes before bedtime. The duration of use is determined by the doctor individually. To correct circadian rhythm disorders when changing time zones, take within a few days after arriving in another time zone. The capsules should be taken without chewing, with sufficient water. The daily amount of 5-HTP is 50 mg (mg), melatonin is 3 mg (mg). The recommended doses should not be exceeded.
