Composition
1 tablet contains:
extracts:
Didymocarpus pedicellata leaves – 65 mg, Saxifraga ligulata roots – 49 mg, Rubia cordifolia roots – 16 mg, Cyperus scariosus rhizomes – 16 mg, Achyranthes aspera seeds – 16 mg, Onosma bracteatum aerial parts – 16 mg, Vernonia cinerea – 16 mg; powders: silica lime (Hajrul yahood bhasma) – 16 mg; Shilajeet purified – 13 mg;
which are treated with an aqueous extract of: cornflower herb (Ocimum basilicum), creeping anchor fruit (Tribulus terrestris), shy mimosa seeds (Mimosa pudica), dolichos biflorus seeds (Dolichos biflorus), fragrant peony (Pavonia odorata), field horsetail (Equisetum arvense), teak tree seeds (Tectona grandis seed); excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, magnesium stearate, crospovidone, colloidal anhydrous silicon dioxide.

Pharmacological properties
The effect of the drug is due to the properties of the components that make up its composition.
Didymocarpus stem contains isopedicin, pedicin, essential oil, pedicillin. It has strong diuretic properties.
Lingual saxifrage is a diuretic that reduces irritation, has an astringent effect, promotes the dissolution and destruction of kidney stones and urinary tract infections by affecting the crystal-colloidal balance; it also has an antimicrobial effect.
Madder contains anthraquinone glycosides, ruberythric acid, which is able to dissolve oxalate stones contained in the urinary tract, thereby promoting their excretion. Madder has an astringent and diuretic effect.
Membranous sedge – has an antimicrobial effect in the genitourinary system.
Rough sedge has antispasmodic and diuretic effects.
Onosma perichotovaya has antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, diuretic, antimicrobial effects, relieves bladder irritation. It is used to treat urinary tract infections.
Vernonia ashy is used for bladder spasms and difficulty urinating.
Silica lime acts as a diuretic, promoting the lysis of stones in the urinary tract.
Purified mineral resin is a balanced general tonic composition of useful mineral and organic components. In addition to correcting urination, it affects the processes of digestion, absorption and assimilation of food. It relieves digestive and metabolic disorders.
Cyston® promotes blood flow to the kidneys and urinary tract, causes a diuretic and anti-inflammatory effect. Cyston® prevents the process of stone formation. Suppression of stone formation occurs by reducing the mass of stone-forming substances (oxalic acid, etc.). Cyston® promotes the removal of stones by micro-grinding. Disintegration of stones and crystals occurs due to the effect on mucin, which connects individual particles together.
Cyston® has antimicrobial activity, especially against E. coli and Klebsiella. It also has an antispasmodic effect, which alleviates the condition of painful urination.
Indication
Dissolving kidney stones caused by oxalates, phosphates, uric acid and urates.
Prevention of stone formation after surgery.
As an adjuvant for urinary tract infections; nonspecific urethritis; cystitis, pyelitis.

Contraindication
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug. Acute pain in the urinary tract. Nephritis, nephrosis, nephrosonephritis.
Interaction with other medicinal products and other types of interactions
In experimental studies, Cyston® has been shown to affect the bioavailability of sulfamethoxazole, trimethoprim, and norfloxacin. Therefore, when these drugs are taken simultaneously, their doses should be adjusted.
Application features
Cyston® is not recommended for use in cases of obstruction caused by large stones (more than 10 mm according to ultrasound), or in cases of large stones that may cause obstruction.
If symptoms such as fever, dysuria, spasm, or blood in the urine occur while using the drug, you should consult a doctor.

Method of administration and doses
Take Cyston® orally.
Dissolving kidney stones caused by oxalates, phosphates, uric acid and urates:
For urinary tract infections: adults and children over 14 years old - 2 tablets, children from 12 to 14 years old - 1 tablet 3 times a day for 4–6 weeks.
For recurrent urinary tract infections: adults and children over 14 years old - 1 tablet, children from 12 to 14 years old - ½ tablet 2 times a day for 6–12 weeks.
To prevent kidney stones: adults and children over 14 years old - 1 tablet, children from 12 to 14 years old - ½ tablet 3 times a day for 4–5 months.
Children
The medicine should be used in children over 12 years of age.
Overdose
Not observed. Possible increase in adverse reactions.
Side effects
Skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders: skin rash, erythema, urticaria, itching.
Gastrointestinal and hepatic disorders: gastrointestinal disorders and hepatic disorders.
