Properties
The complex of amino acids, vitamins and trace elements of Cytohelp contribute to better absorption of L-arginine, L-carnitine and Quercetin
L-Arginine is a conditionally essential amino acid that plays a key role in supporting biological processes, in particular the sleep-wake cycle, helps improve well-being and physical endurance in people with cardiovascular failure, has hypotensive properties. It acts as a precursor for the synthesis of proteins, valuable amino acids (ornithine, proline), polyamines, creatine. Arginine promotes the excretion of ammonia, the synthesis of hormones and improves the functioning of the immune system. Its role as a precursor for the synthesis of nitric oxide (NO), which helps improve cerebral blood flow, improves memory, and exhibits antioxidant properties, is especially important.
L-Carnitine also plays an important role in the body. It effectively affects inflammatory mediators and the patient's lipid profile, significantly reducing the level of total cholesterol, LDL and triglycerides, increasing HDL, and normalizing the glycemic status. In conditions of hypoxia
L-Carnitine removes toxic fatty acid metabolites from mitochondria, shifting cell metabolism to glucose oxidation, thus exhibiting antihypoxic and antitoxic properties. Particular attention is paid to the ability of L-Carnitine to act as an active factor affecting the transcription of genes that control cell survival under conditions of oxidative stress and inflammation.
Quercetin has cardioprotective properties, which are due to increased energy supply of cardiomyocytes due to antioxidant action and improved blood circulation. It has capillary stabilizing properties associated with antioxidant, membrane stabilizing effects, reduces capillary permeability. Quercetin is able to normalize blood pressure and stimulate insulin release, inhibit thromboxane synthesis, slow down platelet aggregation. It has an anti-inflammatory effect due to blockade of the lipoxygenase pathway of arachidonic acid metabolism, reduces the synthesis of leukotrienes, serotonin and other inflammatory mediators. Inhibits enzymes (lipoxygenase), anti-inflammatory mediators, histamine release.
Quercetin can inhibit trypsin-like serine proteases at micromolar concentrations by binding two adjacent phenolic hydroxyl groups to amino acid residues of the catalytic center of the protease, including the catalytically important glutamic acid residue, which is a characteristic feature of proteases of most viruses.
Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) increases the elasticity of capillaries and blood vessels, accelerates regeneration processes. Vitamin C takes an active role in the formation of thyroid hormones, collagen production, serotonin conversion, and protects against the destructive effects of free radicals.
L-lysine is an essential amino acid used in the body for protein synthesis. It plays a key role in many biological processes. It reduces the activity of lysosomal hydrolases, which prevents the breakdown of mucopolysaccharides in the walls of capillaries and the connective tissue surrounding them, and thereby normalizes increased vascular-tissue permeability and has an anti-exudative (anti-edema), anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect. Supports nitrogen balance, creates an anabolic environment in the body, helps maintain muscle mass during stressful periods. Strengthens blood vessels, reduces blood triglyceride levels, preventing the formation of atherosclerotic plaques. NOW L-Lysine promotes better absorption of calcium and its accumulation in bone tissue. Participates in the synthesis of collagen for the regeneration of damaged tissues.
It has antiviral effects, most pronounced against herpes viruses that cause acute respiratory infections.
With long-term use, L-lysine has, in addition to antiherpetic, also a mild antidepressant-like effect, increasing mental performance.
L-methionine is an essential amino acid that participates in the processes of transmethylation. It exhibits lipotropic effects, promotes the synthesis of choline, phospholipids; participates in the synthesis of adrenaline, creatine; activates the action of hormones, vitamins, enzymes. It has detoxifying properties due to its ability to methylate toxic products. Reduces the concentration of cholesterol in the blood and increases the content of phospholipids.
Five large observational studies have shown that increased vitamin E intake is associated with a reduced risk of heart attack and other cardiovascular events in men and women. In each study, researchers measured vitamin E intake in healthy individuals and followed them for several years. The results showed that the risk of heart disease was three times lower in people who consumed more than 7 mg of α-tocopherol per day than in those who consumed less than 3–5 mg of α-tocopherol.
Several studies have also found that plasma or red blood cell vitamin E levels are inversely related to the severity of carotid atherosclerosis as measured by ultrasonography. 3 In addition, a randomized, placebo-controlled trial of 39,876 women aged 45 years and older found that taking 600 IU of natural vitamin E every other day for 10 years reduced cardiovascular mortality by 24% and the risk of venous thromboembolism by 21%.
Iron is an essential component of hemoglobin, which is part of red blood cells. Thanks to iron, hemoglobin is able to hold oxygen and deliver it from the lungs to all cells of the body, and carbon dioxide - in the opposite direction. Iron is involved in cholesterol metabolism, the conversion of calories into energy, as well as in the synthesis of thyroid hormones.
Strengthens immunity, supports the functioning of the thyroid gland and liver. Iron participates in the destruction and utilization of toxins and is a component of many protein and enzyme systems of the body.
B vitamins: B vitamins act as coenzymes in enzymatic processes that support all aspects of the physiological functioning of cells, including essential functions in the brain and nervous system. Nervous system: Vitamins B1 (thiamine), B6 (pyridoxine), B9 (folic acid) and B12 (cobalamin) support the normal functioning of the nervous system. They contribute to the transmission of nerve impulses, the synthesis of neurotransmitters and the maintenance of mental health. Energy metabolism: Vitamins B1 (thiamine), B2 (riboflavin), B3 (niacin), B5 (pantothenic acid) and B7 (biotin) play an important role in the metabolism of carbohydrates, fats and proteins. They help convert food into the energy needed for the functioning of the body's cells. Hemoglobin synthesis: Vitamins B6 (pyridoxine), B9 (folic acid), and B12 (cobalamin) are important for the synthesis of hemoglobin, which ensures the transport of oxygen to tissues and organs.
