Pharmacodynamics

Dalargin is a peptide compound (tyrosine-2-alanyl-glycine-phenylalanyl-leucyl-arginine diacetate), the structure of which includes residues of 6 amino acids. Dalargin refers to agents that regulate metabolic processes. The drug accelerates the healing of gastric and duodenal ulcers, reduces the acidity of gastric juice due to antisecretory activity. Dalargin also has a hypotensive effect. Dalargin has a positive effect on the mental functions of patients with alcoholism.

Indication

As part of complex therapy: exacerbation of gastric and duodenal ulcers with long-term scarring of the ulcer; obliterating diseases of the lower extremities; mental disorders in alcoholism; pancreatitis, pancreatic necrosis.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, severe arterial hypotension.

Interaction with other medicinal products and other types of interactions

If there is a pronounced pain symptom, antacids should be prescribed simultaneously with the drug Dalargin-Pharmsynthes.

Method of administration and doses

Dalargin-Pharmsynthes should be administered intramuscularly and intravenously.

For gastric and duodenal ulcers or obliterating diseases of the lower extremities, a single dose of Dalargin-Pharmsynthes is 1-2 ml (1-2 mg).

Intramuscular injections are administered 2 times a day, intravenous injections - 1 time a day. The maximum daily dose (with intramuscular injection) is up to 5 ml (5 mg). The course of treatment lasts 3-4 weeks. The total dose of the drug Dalargin-Pharmsynthesz for the course of treatment is 30-50 mg.

For mental disorders of alcoholic origin, intravenously administer 1 mg of dalargin in 10 ml of 0.9% sodium chloride solution for injection.

In acute pancreatitis, the drug is administered intravenously: on the first day - 2 ml (2 mg), then 5 ml (5 mg) 1-2 times a day. The course of treatment is from 4 to 6 days.

In case of pancreatic necrosis, administer intravenously 5 ml (5 mg) 3-4 times a day (after 6-8 hours). The course of treatment is from 2 to 6 days.

Children. There is no information on the safety and efficacy of Dalargin-Pharmsynthesz in children, therefore it is not recommended to prescribe the drug to this age group of patients.

Adverse reactions

Cardiovascular disorders: decreased blood pressure, headache, dizziness, chest pain, tachycardia, numbness of the upper extremities; respiratory system disorders: increased or difficult breathing; disorders in the body as a whole: allergic reactions, including itching, flushing, urticaria, redness or burning of the skin of the face, chills, increased body temperature; gastrointestinal tract disorders: nausea, epigastric pain.
