Composition
One Debutir capsule contains 600 mg of granulated sodium butyrate with fully hydrogenated vegetable oil, which corresponds to 300 mg of sodium butyrate.
Ingredients: sodium butyrate, fully hydrogenated vegetable oil, capsule shell: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, thickener sodium alginate, capsule dye (calcium carbonate dye; zinc oxide, starch, maltodextrin, stabilizer gum arabic) emulsifier - mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids, gelling agents: carrageenan, potassium chloride.

Butyric acid (butyrate) belongs to the group of short-chain fatty acids that are produced under physiological conditions in the large intestine by bacterial fermentation of dietary fiber. Insufficient fiber intake can contribute to a decrease in the level of endogenous short-chain fatty acids. Butyric acid (butyrate) is the main energy material for the intestinal epithelium. Epithelium of normal integrity protects the body from the penetration of bacteria and toxins from the intestinal contents.
What is the innovation of DEBUTIRE FORTE?
Butyric acid (butyrate) is the main energy material for the intestinal epithelium.
The use of modern sodium butyrate granulation technology, unlike standard forms of butyric acid, protects it from complete utilization in the upper gastrointestinal tract and makes it possible to deliver the active substance to the small and large intestines. The granules are designed in such a way that the process of sodium butyrate release occurs along the entire length of the small and large intestines.
Have studies been conducted using DEBUTYR FORTE?
A sodium butyrate product was evaluated in a two-center, randomized, placebo-controlled study. Quality of life and symptom severity (abdominal discomfort, bowel disorders) were assessed in 66 patients with irritable bowel syndrome. Patients in the study group received a sodium butyrate product (2 capsules per day) as an adjunct to standard therapy. After three months of follow-up, quality of life improved significantly in the group receiving additional sodium butyrate, and the frequency and severity of the studied symptoms decreased.

Debutir Forte is recommended as support for:
- functional bowel disorders, namely: chronic constipation, abdominal pain, flatulence, dyspepsia, diarrhea;
- irritable bowel syndrome (IBS);
- inflammatory bowel diseases;
- diverticular disease;
- disorders of intestinal microflora, after prolonged antibiotic therapy, in some chronic diseases (diseases of the pancreas, liver, kidneys);
- nutritional deficiency (insufficient dietary fiber intake, low-fiber diet);
- Colorectal diseases associated with atrophic changes in the intestinal mucosa.
Method of administration and doses
Adults: 1 capsule orally twice a day, morning and evening. It is recommended to use the product for at least 3 months.
Children over 7 years of age: 1 capsule orally once a day, preferably in the evening. It is recommended to use for at least 6 weeks.
The capsule should be swallowed whole, without opening or chewing, with warm or cool water. It is advisable to take the supplement with meals.
