Instructions for Decamax 4000 capsules No. 30
Composition
1 capsule contains: active ingredients: vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) – 100 mcg (µg) [4000 IU (IU)], vitamin K2 (menaquinone, MK-7) – 100 mcg (µg), fish oil (contains omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids) – 400 mg (mg) [including eicosapentaenoic acid – 72 mg (mg), docosahexaenoic acid – 48 mg (mg)]; excipients: magnesium stearate (anti-caking agent), capsule shell: gelatin.
Functional properties of components
Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) is a vital fat-soluble vitamin that helps maintain healthy immune function, strengthen the musculoskeletal system, increase the body's energy potential, support normal nervous system function, and improve reproductive function in both women and men.
The biological role of vitamin D: participates in the regulation of phosphorus-calcium metabolism, namely, helps absorb calcium in the intestines, maintains the necessary levels of calcium and phosphorus in the blood, activates bone tissue metabolism. Helps ensure the strength of bones and teeth, reduces the risk of rickets, osteomalacia; helps maintain muscle strength and neuromuscular conduction, thereby reducing the risk of falls and fractures; normalizes the functions of the immune system, has a positive effect on both innate and acquired immunity. Triggers the synthesis of the body's own antimicrobial peptides. Helps reduce the risk of developing colds. Has a regulatory effect on the growth, development and renewal of cells. Lack of vitamin D in the body leads to a weakening of the body's immune defenses; helps reduce fatigue and increase the body's tone, regulates the cells' own energy potential. As a result of the influence of vitamin D, the synthesis of ATP increases in the mitochondria of cells, which is their own universal source of energy for all biochemical processes occurring in the body; it has a positive effect on the activity of the nervous system, including the psycho-emotional sphere and cognitive functions (mood, memory, attention, performance, general tone of the body), as it participates in the production of neurotransmitters, biologically active substances that transmit nerve impulses between nerve cells. It is necessary for the conversion of tryptophan (an amino acid that enters the body with food) into serotonin - a neurotransmitter that is of great importance for normal cognitive function and the psycho-emotional state of a person; it contributes to the normalization of the correct synthesis of female and male sex hormones: estrogen, progesterone, testosterone. It has a positive effect on reproductive function, both in women and men. In women with sufficient levels of vitamin D, fertilization of eggs occurs more often. The absence of vitamin D deficiency allows to improve the results of IVF (in vitro fertilization). This effect is due to the effect of vitamin D on the endometrium. The use of vitamin D allows to increase the thickness of the endometrium in women with polycystic ovary syndrome; vitamin D deficiency is a risk factor for the development of insulin resistance, impaired glucose tolerance. Vitamin D can stimulate the secretion of insulin by pancreatic beta cells, and also indirectly activates calcium-dependent endopeptidase of beta cells, which converts proinsulin into active insulin.
Vitamin D can affect tissue sensitivity to insulin by stimulating the expression of insulin receptors in cells. Vitamin D has a positive effect on lipid metabolism, the inner layer and muscle wall of blood vessels, as well as on blood clotting processes; helps reduce the level of total cholesterol, triglycerides and low-density lipids in the blood; According to the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), the maximum permissible values for the daily dose of vitamin D intake: for adults and children aged 11 years and older - 100 μg (4000 IU). The appointment of a daily dose higher than 4000 IU is recommended after an analysis of the concentration of 25 (OH) D in the blood.
Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) – eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) are essential fatty acids. They are not synthesized in the human body and must be supplied from the outside. When omega-3 PUFAs enter the body, the synthesis of VLDL and LDL is inhibited, and their excretion with bile is improved; omega-3 PUFAs contribute to the prolongation of blood clotting time, the reduction of platelet aggregation ability due to the competitive displacement of arachidonic acid from cell membranes, which is the main substrate for the synthesis of prostaglandins, thromboxanes and leukotrienes. Omega-3 PUFAs contribute to peripheral vasodilation, a decrease in blood viscosity, an increase in erythrocyte fluidity, and an increase in fibrinolysis. By integrating into the structure of cell membranes, omega-3 PUFAs return them to a semi-liquid consistency, while significantly improving the conduction of nerve impulses. Omega-3 PUFAs provide the body with energy, improve memory, intellectual abilities, and reduce the tendency to depression, anxiety, and mood swings.
Recommendations for use
Decamax 4000 is recommended as an additional source of omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA), vitamins K2 and D3 to normalize the functional state of bones, the cardiovascular system and metabolism in general in case of deficiency of vitamins D3, K2 and PUFA, as well as in conditions requiring additional use of these substances (fractures, osteoporosis, calcium absorption disorders, joint and thyroid diseases, metabolic syndrome, reproductive disorders in men and women).
Decamax 4000 helps normalize lipid metabolism (reduces triglyceride and cholesterol levels in the blood).
It is advisable to use for people who spend little time in the sun.
It is recommended to consult a doctor before use.
Method of application
Directions for use and recommended daily dose: adults take 1 capsule once a day, during meals; drink with sufficient liquid at room temperature. Depending on the degree of vitamin D3 and K2 deficiency, the daily dose may be changed individually according to the doctor's recommendations. The duration of use is determined by the doctor individually.
Precautions for use
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Decamax 4000 should not be used as a substitute for a balanced diet.
It is not recommended to take Decamax 4000 simultaneously with other vitamin complexes containing vitamins D and K.
Individuals taking anticoagulants are recommended to consult a doctor before taking Decamax 4000.
Medicines that promote the elimination of fat and fatty acids from the body (for example, drugs containing orlistat) may reduce the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins, so Decamax 4000 should be taken 2 hours before or 2 hours after taking such drugs, or before bedtime.
