Delmar nasal spray 50 ml

Delmar is a nasal spray that is an isotonic solution of reconstituted seawater.

In allergic and vasomotor rhinitis, the drug helps to wash and remove allergens and haptens from the nasal mucosa, reducing the severity of the local inflammatory process.

When used for hygienic purposes, Delmar helps cleanse the mucous membrane of street and indoor dust that has settled on it.

Properties

Isotonic sea water helps maintain the normal physiological state of the nasal mucosa. The solution helps to thin mucus and normalize its production in the goblet cells of the nasal mucosa. The trace elements contained in the spray improve the function of the ciliated epithelium, which in turn increases the resistance of the nasal mucosa and sinuses and prevents the penetration of pathogenic bacteria and viruses.

Method of application

For daily hygiene of the nasal cavity. For the prevention of acute and chronic inflammatory diseases of the nasal cavity, paranasal sinuses and nasopharynx. For dry nasal mucosa and for people who often stay in rooms with artificial air conditioning and/or central heating, in order to preserve the physiological characteristics of the nasal mucosa in changed microclimatic conditions. For people whose mucous membrane of the upper respiratory tract is constantly exposed to harmful influences (smokers, drivers of vehicles, people who work in hot and dusty workshops or live in regions with difficult climatic conditions). Method of application

For preventive purposes:

Delmar nasal spray is recommended for children aged 1 to 7 years 1-3 times a day, 1-2 sprays into each nostril; for children aged 7-16 years - 2-4 times a day, 2 sprays into each nasal passage; for adults - 2-3 sprays into each nasal passage 3-6 times a day.

To soften and remove nasal discharge:

In cases where a significant amount of secretions have accumulated in the nasal passage, Delmar is injected into each nasal passage in the amount required in a particular situation. If there is a lot of secretions, a handkerchief or cotton ball should be used. The procedure can be repeated many times until the secretions accumulated in the nasal passage are softened and removed.
