"Deprilium®" contains a scientifically proven combination of substances of natural origin to normalize the psycho-emotional state by improving the metabolism of neurotransmitters in the brain, which leads to: a reduction in such manifestations as depressed mood, apathy, fatigue, decreased self-esteem, etc.; improvement of mood and well-being; increased performance and concentration; improvement of cognitive functions.
S-adenosyl-L-methionine (S-adenosyl-L-methionine, SAMe) is a naturally occurring substance present in all cells of the body and involved in more than 200 metabolic processes. SAMe has a long history of use, including in the European Union and the USA. Numerous clinical studies have proven the effectiveness of S-adenosyl-L-methionine in the treatment of depression. S-adenosyl-L-methionine is characterized by a rapid onset of physiological effect and a favorable safety profile. S-adenosyl-L-methionine penetrates the blood-brain barrier, where it participates in the synthesis of CNS neurotransmitters (in particular, serotonin, catecholamines, melatonin, histamine).
L-methylfolate is the biologically active form of folic acid (vitamin B9), an essential nutrient found primarily in green leafy vegetables and fruits. Folic acid is easily destroyed during food preparation and processing, and its levels in the body are affected by many factors. According to a number of studies, depression is associated with decreased serum folate levels. L-methylfolate does not require additional conversion in the body and is the only form of folic acid that crosses the blood-brain barrier. Methylfolate plays an important role in the synthesis of essential CNS neurotransmitters, amino acids, proteins, and nucleic acids. L-methylfolate helps reduce the symptoms of depressive syndrome.
Methylcobalamin is one of the active forms of vitamin B12. Compared to other forms of vitamin B12, methylcobalamin is better transported at the subcellular level into the organelles of neurons. It is thanks to this property that it is more effective in improving the psycho-emotional state and normalizing the function of the nervous system. Low levels of vitamin B12 are observed in people with depressive syndrome. Its metabolism is closely linked to folate and SAMe; Methylcobalamin plays an important role in the metabolism of neurotransmitters. Vitamin B12 is involved in cell division and blood formation, and is also crucial for the normal functioning of nervous tissue. Methylcobalamin is responsible for the regeneration and new formation of nerve fiber membranes (also known as myelin sheaths), which protect nerves and ensure the correct and effective transmission of nerve impulses.

Indications for use
Deprilium® is recommended as an additional source of amino acids and vitamins to normalize the function of the nervous system in cases of depression of the psycho-emotional state, apathy, decreased concentration of attention and performance associated with impaired metabolism of central neurotransmitters (serotonin, noradrenaline, etc.). Deprilium® has neuroprotective properties, improves mood and well-being, increases cognitive functions and performance. Deprilium® compensates for the lack of folic acid and vitamin B12 in the body, which contributes to the normalization of the psycho-emotional state.
Dosage and administration
Adults should take 1-2 capsules 1-2 times a day 30 minutes before meals or 1 hour after meals (but no later than 16 hours), washed down with plenty of drinking water.
Recommended course of treatment:
1-3 months. If necessary, the course can be adjusted by a doctor.
