1 capsule contains: active ingredients: ascorbic acid (vitamin C) – 1000 mg, zinc oxide – 19 mg, (equivalent to 15 mg of elemental zinc), vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) – 1000 IU (IU) [25 mcg (mcg)]; excipients: magnesium stearate as an anti-caking agent; capsule shell: gelatin, titanium dioxide (colorant). Does not contain GMOs.

Properties

Normally, the body receives a sufficient amount of vitamins and minerals with a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. However, seasonal respiratory viral infections occur at a time of year when, in combination with adverse weather conditions, the body and immune system may experience a lack of certain vitamins and minerals. A balanced level of vitamin C contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system. Vitamin C enhances the synthesis of interferons and phagocytosis, promotes the migration of lymphocytes to foci of inflammation and infection. Vitamin C has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties and neutralizes free radicals, thereby supporting the immune system and reducing oxidative stress. It also normalizes capillary permeability and is a protective factor against the effects of stress. Vitamin D3 and zinc are also involved in the regulation of many components of natural and acquired immunity. The optimal amount of vitamin D3 in the body activates various mechanisms of natural (innate) immunity, modulating the activity of immune cells and reducing excessive inflammatory reactions. Thus, vitamin D3 will help reduce the risk of respiratory infections. Zinc takes an active part in strengthening the body's protective functions, supporting the function of the central component of immunity - the thymus gland, ensuring the maintenance of the activity of the protective functions of cellular immunity, as it is responsible for the process of lymphocyte maturation. It also helps maintain the barrier function of the lungs during inflammation. Zinc deficiency is associated with an increased risk of respiratory infections in the elderly.

Indications for use

Recommended as an additional source of vitamins D and C and zinc, which contribute to the normal functioning of the immune system and protect cells from oxidative stress.

Dosage and use

Adults and children over 14 years of age should take 1 capsule per day after meals; washed down with plenty of drinking water. Long-term period: 10 days when taken daily and 20 days when taken every other day. If necessary, the course can be repeated. It is recommended to consult a doctor before use.

Contraindication

Individual sensitivity to any of the components, pregnancy and breastfeeding, children under 14 years of age, progressive systemic diseases, thrombophlebitis, thrombocytosis, diabetes mellitus, urolithiasis, hypercalcemia and/or hypercalciuria, hypervitaminosis D, renal failure.

Reservation
