Instructions for use
Measurement procedure, memorization:
Turn on the power by pressing the power button. When you press the button, all segments on the screen will light up, indicating that the thermometer is in working condition. Release the button. The last measurement result will appear on the screen. Then, the "L °C" symbol will be displayed and the "°C" symbol will flash. Place the thermometer probe in the armpit (or other location as described in the "How to Measure Temperature" section). If the body temperature is higher than 32.0 °C, the temperature value will appear on the display instead of "L °C" and the "°C" marker will flash throughout the measurement time. If the temperature reading does not change within 16 seconds, the "°C" marker will stop flashing and a beep will sound. This indicates the end of the measurement. If the measured temperature is lower than 32 °C, the display will continuously display "L °C". If the measured temperature is higher than 42 °C, the display will display "H °C". The temperature readings will be displayed until the thermometer is turned off. Turn off the thermometer by pressing the ON button. If the thermometer is not turned off, it will turn off automatically after approximately 10 minutes.
Measurement method:
Oral: Insert the probe into a hygiene bag (sold separately); Keep your mouth closed for 5 minutes before taking the temperature; Place the probe under your tongue, supporting it with your tongue; Close your mouth; The time required to measure the temperature in this way is about one minute. Rectal: Carefully insert only the tip of the thermometer into the rectum (do not insert it deeper than 2.5 cm); The time required to measure the temperature in this way is about one minute; Any hygiene bag (sold separately) can be used for the measurement. Axillary: Before taking the measurement, wipe the area in the armpit with a dry towel and immerse your arm for about 5 minutes; Place the probe in the armpit, pressing your arm firmly; This may take 3 to 4 minutes.
Caution! Rectal temperature can be 1 degree higher than oral, and axillary temperature can be 1 degree lower than oral. Any questions about this should be asked to your doctor. Do not take your temperature within 30 minutes after eating, running, exercising, or taking a bath, as your body temperature may be high. Taking your temperature orally, if you have been drinking water or talking, or under your arm, if your arm has been exposed, will take longer.
Precautions
Avoid getting water on the waterproof parts of the device.
The thermometer is designed to measure temperature by axillary, oral or rectal method.
Small parts should be kept out of reach of children. This can be dangerous to their health.
Storage conditions
This thermometer should be protected from high humidity, direct sunlight, shocks, vibrations. The thermometer is not waterproof.
Do not store or use the thermometer directly near heating appliances or open flames.
If the thermometer has been stored at temperatures below freezing, keep it in a warm place for at least 1 hour before using.
Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
Do not dirty the thermometer and keep it away from dust. You can use water and 3% hydrogen peroxide solution to clean and disinfect the waterproof part of the thermometer. Never use gasoline solutions, thinners, boiling water or sterilizers.
Do not subject the device to strong impacts or drop it.
If necessary, have it repaired only by a specialized organization.
The thermometer has a service life of 5 years. After the specified service life, periodically check the device at an authorized repair center. Please dispose of the device in accordance with the regulations in force in your region. There are no special disposal conditions for this device.
For everyday storage, use a plastic case.
