Diosmin-BM increases the tone of small-caliber veins, thereby improving venous outflow and lymphatic drainage. The tone of veins increases due to an increase in the tropism of noradrenaline to venous myocytes (increases the synthesis and/or release of noradrenaline; inhibits the activity of catecholmethyltransferase; moderately reduces the activity of phosphodiesterase). The vasoconstrictor effect of diosmin extends only to the venous and lymphatic system.

The dietary supplement does not affect arterial tone and has a moderate antiplatelet and anti-inflammatory effect. The anti-inflammatory effect is realized due to anticomplementary activity, inhibition of the peroxide release reaction and reduction of leukotriene production.

Method of application

The tablet should be taken during meals, swallowed without chewing; washed down with 1 glass (200 milliliters (ml) of drinking water).

Adults should take 1 tablet once a day (in the morning).

Course of treatment: 2 months, then a break of 2 months.

If necessary, the course of use can be repeated 2-3 times a year.
