The combination of octenidine dihydrochloride and phenoxyethanol significantly enhances the antimicrobial effect and prevents the development of pathogen resistance.

Octenidine dihydrochloride has a wide spectrum of antimicrobial, antiviral and antifungal activity due to strong binding to glycopolysaccharides of the cell walls of pathological microorganisms, which leads to the destruction of the cytoplasmic membrane and the death of the pathogenic pathogen.
