Dokulak IS tablets are indicated for:

Composition

Active ingredient: docusate sodium;

1 tablet contains docusate sodium 50 mg or 100 mg;

Excipients: calcium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, corn starch, croscarmellose sodium, colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, sodium benzoate (E 211), hypromellose (hydroxypropylmethylcellulose), polyethylene glycol, talc, titanium dioxide (E 171).

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the components of the drug.

Abdominal pain not associated with constipation, nausea, vomiting, intestinal obstruction.

Age up to 12 years.

Method of application

For oral use. The tablets should be swallowed whole with a glass of water. During drug therapy, it is necessary to ensure adequate hydration of the body.

Pregnant women

Docusate sodium should be used during pregnancy only if the expected benefit outweighs the possible risks.

Children

The drug is not intended for use in children under 12 years of age.

Overdose

In rare cases of overdose, excessive loss of water and electrolytes should be compensated by drinking plenty of fluids. Drug correction of electrolyte losses should be carried out if necessary.

Side effects

From the gastrointestinal tract: rarely - diarrhea, nausea, cramps.

Skin and mucous membranes: rarely - skin rash, frequency unknown - itching.

Interaction

Docusate sodium should not be used concomitantly with mineral oils (e.g., liquid petrolatum).

Storage conditions

Store in the original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C.

Keep out of reach of children.

Shelf life - 2.5 years.
