Composition

2 capsules (daily dose) contain: 1500 mg of glucosamine sulfate and 200 mg of chondroitin sulfate.

Properties

Glucosamine and chondroitin take an active part in the biosynthesis of connective tissue, stimulate the regeneration of cartilage tissue, and prevent and slow down bone resorption.

Glucosamine is a building material for cartilage tissue, with its deficiency in the body, the processes of cartilage degeneration are intensified, inflammation occurs, which ultimately leads to osteoarthritis. Glucosamine has chondroprotective properties, reduces the deficiency of glycosamines in the body, participates in the biosynthesis of proteoglycans and hyaluronic acid. Due to its affinity for cartilage tissue, glucosamine initiates the process of sulfur fixation during the synthesis of chondroitin sulfate acid. Glucosamine inhibits the formation of superoxide radicals and enzymes that cause damage to cartilage tissue (collagenase and phospholipase), prevents the destructive effect of glucocorticoids on chondrocytes and disruption of the biosynthesis of glycosaminoglycans caused by nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.

To enhance the effect, glucosamine must be combined with chondroitin. The latter is a high-molecular mucopolysaccharide, which is found in large quantities in cartilage, bones and connective tissue. Chondroitin slows down bone resorption and reduces calcium loss, improves phosphorus-calcium metabolism in cartilage tissue, accelerates their repair processes, inhibits cartilage degeneration and destruction of connective tissue. Inhibits enzymes that negatively affect articular cartilage (elastase, hyaluronidase), stimulates the synthesis of glucosamine glycans, promotes the regeneration of the joint capsule, maintains the viscosity of synovial fluid.

The substances included in Doppelherz® Active Glucosamine + Chondroitin improve the functioning of joints and increase their mobility. Studies have shown that the use of 1500 mg of glucosamine per day improves joint mobility. The achieved effect of improving mobility is usually characterized by significant stability (up to 3 months after the end of the intake).

Recommendations for use

May be recommended by a doctor as an additional source of glucosamine and chondroitin for:

increased load on the joints (excess weight, sports and other intense physical activity);

for joint or tendon injuries;

limited or insufficient joint mobility;

menopause and old age to create optimal dietary conditions for the functioning of the human body.

Method of application

Adults: 1 capsule 2 times a day during or after meals, with sufficient water. It is recommended to consult a doctor before use.

Term of use

1-2 months. Repeated course is possible on the recommendation of a doctor.
