Amino acids are the basis of all proteins synthesized in the body. One of the most important aspects of a healthy diet is a balanced intake of essential amino acids. Sufficient daily intake of essential amino acids is necessary for normal growth, digestive processes, fluid balance and many other functions of the body. They regulate the secretory function of the stomach, liver, pancreas, intestines, participate in hematopoiesis, have detoxifying properties, regulate appetite, and strengthen immunity. With a lack or absence of essential amino acids, protein synthesis in the body is disrupted.
