Composition

Pharmacological action

Magnesium is a vital mineral that the body cannot produce on its own. Acting as a major intracellular element, magnesium activates enzymes that regulate carbohydrate metabolism, regulate energy storage and release, reduce excitability in nerve cells, and relax the heart muscle. Magnesium deficiency in the human body contributes to the development of such common conditions as stress, chronic fatigue syndrome, hypertension, and vascular disorders.

Potassium is a vital mineral that is essential for the normal functioning of all cells in the body. Potassium supports the concentration and activity of magnesium, which is necessary for normal heart function. The body needs both substances as part of its electrolyte balance. A deficiency in potassium can lead to cardiac arrhythmias. A lack of potassium may be one of the causes of chronic fatigue syndrome.

Zinc is an active component of various enzyme systems, and therefore it participates in almost all types of metabolism. Zinc has antioxidant properties, is necessary for the normal functioning of the immune system, and slows down the aging process.
