Pharmacological properties

Doppelherz System Magnesium + Potassium Citrate contains two minerals that are organic compounds and have high bioavailability.

Magnesium is an important mineral that is not produced by the body, so its intake is only possible exogenously. Its storage in the body is possible in limited quantities, and consumption may increase depending on the needs or load of the body. Sufficient intake of magnesium contributes to normal muscle function. Magnesium supports energy metabolism and balanced functioning of the nervous system. The mineral contributes to maintaining a balanced electrolyte balance. Since increased loss of fluid and electrolytes is often observed during intense exercise, it is important to restore the balance in a timely manner.

Potassium contributes to the normal functioning of the muscular and nervous systems. It has a positive effect on the regulation of water balance and glucose levels. It participates in the transmission of neuromuscular impulses, which controls the correct contraction of muscles, including the heart.

Magnesium and potassium are closely related and interact in many metabolic processes in the body.

Vitamin B6 contributes to normal protein and glycogen metabolism, and also improves the absorption of magnesium and potassium, helping to maintain balance in the body.
