Doxepin-ZN is an antidepressant. Indications for use are neurotic disorders, organic neuroses, depressive and anxiety states in alcoholism.

1 hard capsule contains doxepin hydrochloride equivalent to 25 mg doxepin; excipients: pregelatinized starch (granulated), magnesium stearate, sodium lauryl sulfate, gelatin, quinoline yellow (E 104), erythrosine (E 127), titanium dioxide (E 171).Contraindication
Hypersensitivity to doxepin, tricyclic antidepressants or any of the excipients; manic state; severe liver disorders; breastfeeding period; glaucoma; tendency to urinary retention; simultaneous use with MAO inhibitors, or use of the latter within two weeks before starting therapy with doxepin.Method of application
Use internally. The dose of the drug should be selected individually, depending on the severity of symptoms and the therapeutic effect.
The dose of doxepin is 30–300 mg per day. Doses up to 100 mg can be administered as a single dose or in divided doses. Doses greater than 100 mg should be administered in 3 divided doses. The maximum single dose is 100 mg (usually administered at bedtime).

During treatment with doxepin, it is not allowed to drive vehicles or operate complex mechanisms that require concentration of attention, as doxepin may cause drowsiness and increase reaction time.
Overdose
Symptoms: drowsiness, visual disturbances, stupor, dry mouth.
If such symptoms occur, the drug should be discontinued and the patient should be examined.
If necessary, prescribe supportive therapy.
In case of severe overdose, the following are possible: drowsiness, respiratory depression, decrease/increase in blood pressure, coma, convulsions, arrhythmia, tachycardia, urinary retention (bladder atony), decreased peristalsis (functional intestinal obstruction), hyperthermia (or hypothermia), dilated pupils, hyperactive reflexes. There are reports of fatal outcomes as a result of doxepin overdose when used alone or in combination with other drugs or alcohol.
Side effects
Nervous system and mental disorders - drowsiness, headache, dizziness, insomnia, nightmares, confusion, disorientation, agitation, numbness or paresthesia, tremor (usually moderate severity).
On the part of the organs of vision - vision disorders (blurry vision)
On the part of the vascular system - orthostatic hypotension, facial hyperemia.
On the part of the cardiac system - tachycardia, ECG abnormalities (widening of the QRS complex, prolongation of the PR interval).

Store in the original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C.
