Composition
active ingredient: dry extract from ivy leaves (Hedera helix L. folium);
100 ml of syrup contains 154 mg of dry extract from ivy leaves (Hedera helix L. folium) (4–8:1), extractant: ethanol 30% (m/m);
Excipients: potassium sorbate, hydroxyethyl cellulose, blackcurrant flavoring, liquid maltitol, anhydrous citric acid, purified water.

"Dr. Theiss's Cough Syrup with Ivy Extract" is a herbal preparation containing glycoside saponins that provide antitussive, expectorant, antispasmodic and antimicrobial effects. Reduces the viscosity of sputum, facilitates its discharge. The mechanism of action is unknown.

Contraindication

For correct dosage, use a measuring cup.
Due to the lack of data on patients with renal and/or hepatic insufficiency, dosage recommendations are not possible. It is necessary to consult a doctor before taking "Dr. Theiss Cough Syrup with Ivy Extract".
"Dr. Theiss Cough Syrup with Ivy Extract" should be taken undiluted, regardless of meals. It is recommended to drink plenty of water or warm, caffeine-free drinks during the day while taking it.

Overdose
