DROP defense is an ophthalmic solution based on riboflavin sodium phosphate 0.05%, vitamin E TPGS (da-tocopheryl polyethylene glycol succinate), methylsulfonylmethane, amino acids and hyaluronic acid. It protects the surface of the eye from ultraviolet and blue light and improves its lubrication, helping to protect the corneal epithelium from various sources of stress. Sodium hyaluronate interacts with the mucin layer of the tear film, retaining water and ensuring longer-term stability of the eye surface. Amino acids, due to their synergistic action, nourish the surface of the eye and not only regulate the pH and osmolarity of the tear, but also enhance the protection of the epithelium from stress caused by ultraviolet and blue light. Vitamin E (polyethylene glycol succinate) helps to moisturize the surface of the eye. The ophthalmic solution has a shielding, protective, and antioxidant effect, and also accelerates the natural recovery process.
