Active ingredients
- Lespedeza capitata extract is obtained from a legume plant native to northeastern America. The biologically active components of the extract are proanthocyanidins and flavonoids, in particular lespedesin, a well-known natural component with diuretic and nephroprotective properties. Lespedeza extract can be used in renal failure, in particular in individuals with heart disease and/or obesity, due to its normolipidemic, hypoazotemic and diuretic properties. Lespedeza flavonoids are characterized by powerful antioxidant properties, which are realized in kidney tissues by preventing the development of microinflammation of the renal glomeruli.
- Silymarin is a flavolignan extracted from the milk thistle Silybum marianum. Milk thistle and its flavonoids are among the most widely used nutraceuticals in the United States and Europe with a large evidence base and a broad safety profile. Due to its potent antioxidant activity, silymarin helps to increase the levels of two additional antioxidants, glutathione and superoxide dismutase, including in renal tissue. Silymarin is concentrated in renal cells, where it promotes repair and regeneration by increasing protein and nucleic acid synthesis. In a randomized controlled trial, it was also found to be effective in reducing proteinuria in type 2 diabetic patients with nephropathy. The reduction in proteinuria was associated with the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects of silymarin. Silymarin has a positive effect on preventing or reducing the severity of cisplatin nephrotoxicity.

Method of application
Adults should take 1 capsule three times a day, regardless of meals, with sufficient water.
Recommended course of use: 3 months, but should be determined by the doctor individually, taking into account the nature and characteristics of the functional state of the kidneys. If necessary, the course can be repeated.

- extract of the stem and leaves of Lespedeza capitata – 500 mg,
- silymarin – 75 mg;
- excipients: fillers: microcrystalline cellulose, maltodextrin, calcium stearate, silicon dioxide (orysil), calcium carbonate; capsule shell: gelatin.
