Enalapril N-Teva is an angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor (ACEI) and diuretic. For the treatment of arterial hypertension in patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with enalapril monotherapy.
Warehouse
1 tablet contains enalapril maleate 10 mg and hydrochlorothiazide 25 mg; excipients: lactose monohydrate, corn starch, pregelatinized starch, sodium bicarbonate, magnesium stearate.Contraindication
Hypersensitivity to enalapril and other angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors, hydrochlorothiazide and other sulfonamide derivatives or to other components of the drug.
Severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance < 30 ml/min).
Anury.
Clinically significant electrolyte disturbances (hypercalcemia, hyponatremia, hypokalemia).
Hemodialysis period.
History of angioedema associated with previous treatment with angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors.
Hereditary or idiopathic angioedema.
Pregnancy and pregnancy planning
Method of application
Enalapril N-Teva should be used once a day. The tablet should be taken regardless of meals. It is recommended to select the doses of both active ingredients of the drug. The score line is intended solely to simplify breaking the tablet for easier swallowing and does not provide division into equal doses.

Children
The safety and efficacy of the combination of enalapril/hydrochlorothiazide in children have not been established, therefore it is not recommended to prescribe Enalapril N-Teva to this age group.
Drivers
The possibility of dizziness and fatigue should be taken into account when driving or operating other machinery.
Overdose
The main signs of overdose known at this time are pronounced hypotension, which begins approximately 6 hours after taking the tablets and is accompanied by blockade of the renin-angiotensin system and stupor. Symptoms associated with overdose with ACE inhibitors may include circulatory shock, electrolyte imbalance, renal failure, hyperventilation, tachycardia, palpitations, bradycardia, dizziness, anxiety and cough.
Side effects
From the blood and lymphatic system: anemia (including aplastic and hemolytic anemia), neutropenia, decreased hemoglobin and hematocrit, thrombocytopenia, agranulocytosis, bone marrow depression, leukopenia, pancytopenia, lymphadenopathy, autoimmune diseases.
On the part of the endocrine system: syndrome of inappropriate antidiuretic hormone secretion.
Metabolism and nutrition: hypokalemia, increased cholesterol levels, increased triglyceride levels, hyperuricemia, hypoglycemia, hypomagnesemia, gout*, increased blood glucose levels, hypercalcemia, glycosuria, hypochloremia, hypermagnesuria. Metabolic alkalosis may develop due to electrolyte and fluid loss.
Mental disorders: depression, confusion, insomnia, nervousness, decreased libido, abnormal dreams, sleep disorders.
Nervous system: headache, fainting, taste changes, drowsiness, paresthesia, vertigo, paresis (due to hypokalemia).
