Description

Nutrizon Advanced Cubizon is intended for adult patients and children aged 3 years and over with burns, large wounds, severe trauma and other surgical patients who have increased protein needs and moderate energy needs. A liquid, ready-to-use, specialized, high-protein, isocaloric mixture with the composition of dietary fiber MF6, enriched with arginine.

Indications for use

Preparation for surgery and the postoperative period; Critical conditions: burns, sepsis, multiple trauma; Gastrointestinal tract (GIT) diseases: radiation enteritis, chemotherapy, cholecystitis, pancreatitis, fistulas; Partial mechanical obstruction to the passage of food: tumors and injuries of the head and neck, swallowing and chewing disorders, strictures and obstructions in various parts of the gastrointestinal tract; Conditions associated with loss of appetite and/or refusal to eat: cancer, neurological diseases, mental disorders, liver disease, cardiopulmonary failure, AIDS, stress, sensory disorders; Nutrient deficiency.

Contraindication

Age from 0 to 12 months. Galactosemia. Conditions in which any enteral nutrition is contraindicated.

Warning

Use with caution in children aged 1 to 6 years.

Method of application

Before use, it is recommended to warm to room temperature. Make sure the package is intact and up to date, shake, unscrew the cap and connect to the infusion tube (see the diagram in the leaflet on the package). The dosage and rate of administration are calculated by the doctor. 1500 - 2000 ml provide the daily nutrient requirement of an adult. The rate of administration is 0.25-1.5 ml/kg/hour.
