Properties of the active ingredient:

Silica actively binds and removes from the body endogenous and exogenous aggressive substances of various origins - infectious toxins, drugs, poisons, salts of heavy metals, radionuclides, alcohol decomposition products and toxic metabolites, helps to cope with pathogenic microorganisms, allergens. Silica is not broken down in the digestive tract and is not absorbed, leaving the body in its natural unchanged form; thanks to the beneficial components of the gastrointestinal flora, digestion is not disturbed.
Pectin has the ability to neutralize toxic substances - pesticides, heavy metal ions, radioactive elements, without disturbing the balance of the body, so it is recommended in the diet of people who have contact with harmful substances or live in environmentally unfavorable regions. The benefits of pectin also lie in its ability to normalize intestinal microflora, exert a moderate anti-inflammatory and enveloping effect on the mucous membranes of the stomach and intestines, and create optimal conditions for the development of a population of bacteria beneficial to the body.
Chitosan is an aminopolysaccharide from the shells of crustaceans, a source of natural fiber, practically not absorbed after entering the human body, thanks to its sorption properties it removes harmful substances, allergens, fats, helps maintain normal microflora of the digestive tract, reduces stomach acidity, restores increased peristalsis, eliminates dysbacteriosis. Chitosan also has an immunocorrective, oncoprotective effect. In addition, it improves the metabolism of the pancreas and liver, optimizes their functions, thereby preventing disorders of the biliary tract and intestinal motility. Chitosan has antibacterial and antifungal effects, promotes better absorption of calcium, vitamins, strengthens teeth and bones, and prevents osteoporosis.
Lactulose in an unchanged form enters the distal part of the intestine, where it serves as a food substrate (i.e., a prebiotic) for saccharolytic bacteria (bifidobacteria and lactobacteria), supports their development and undergoes fermentation with their participation with the formation of short-chain fatty acids (mainly acetic, propionic, oleic). These acids and their salts have a trophic effect, participate in the stimulation of nonspecific immunity, contribute to a shift in pH to the acidic side, thereby inhibiting the development of pathogenic microflora and reducing intoxication with products of their fatty variety. By increasing the osmotic pressure in the lumen of the large intestine, lactulose stimulates peristalsis, regulates intestinal motility, thereby reducing the contact time of infectious agents and their metabolites with the intestinal mucosa and facilitating their excretion from the body.

Method of application
Enteroklin is used 1 hour before meals or taking oral medications (due to their possible absorption and, accordingly, reduced effectiveness).
Adults and children over 12 years old - 1 sachet (4 g) thoroughly mixed in 100-150 ml of drinking water at room temperature until a homogeneous suspension is formed. The maximum recommended daily dose for adults and children over 12 years old is 16 g.
For children from 3 to 12 years, mix 1 sachet (4 g) thoroughly in 100-150 ml of drinking water at room temperature until a homogeneous suspension is formed, take the mixture in 2-3 doses. The maximum recommended daily dose for children from 3 to 12 years is 8 g (2 sachets per day).
The daily dose should be divided into 2-4 doses. The maximum single dose should not exceed half the daily dose.
The course of use is 3-5 days, in severe cases the period of use can be extended to 7-10 days upon consultation with the doctor.
In acute intestinal disorders, it is recommended to start with a maximum single dose of 8 g for adults and children over 12 years of age or 4 g for children from 3 to 12 years of age. Adults and children over 12 years of age should take 4 g (1 sachet) 2-3 times a day; children from 3 to 12 years of age - 1 sachet (4 g) in 1-2 doses; the daily dose of Enteroklin for children from 3 to 12 years of age is 4-8 g (1-2 sachets, the dose is set individually and depends on the severity of acute intestinal disorders), the course of treatment is 3-5 days; To enhance the excretion of endo- and exotoxins in people with impaired renal function in order to reduce the burden on the kidneys, adults should take 1 sachet (4 g) 1.5 hours or 2 hours after meals or taking oral medications 3-4 times a day for 20 days; after a course of anthelmintic therapy, adults and children over 12 years old should take 8-12 g per day for three days, children from 3 to 12 years old should take 4-6 g per day for three days; to reduce the severity of allergic dermatitis (allergic dermatitis, toxicoderma, eczema, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, urticaria), food and drug allergies, acne, rosacea, adults and children over 12 years old should take 4-8 g per day for 5 days; to reduce the toxic effects of alcohol and accelerate its elimination from the body, with withdrawal syndrome, 8 g once.
