Enterosgel / Enterosgel with sweet taste
Pharmacodynamics. Enterosgel / Enterosgel with sweet taste is an inert organic silicon compound. When used, it has a sorption effect. The drug effectively adsorbs medium-molecular toxic substances of exo and endogenous origin, products of incomplete metabolism, incorporated radionuclides and naturally removes them from the body.
Enterosgel eliminates the manifestations of toxicosis, improves the function of the intestines, liver, and kidneys, and normalizes the physiological parameters of blood and urine.
Pharmacokinetics. By enveloping the mucous membrane of the stomach and intestines, Enterosgel protects it from erosive processes and helps increase local immunity.
Enterosgel / Enterosgel with a sweet taste is not absorbed from the intestines and does not undergo metabolic or chemical transformations.
Enterosgel ExtraCaps
Pharmacodynamics. When used internally, it has a detoxifying effect. The drug effectively adsorbs medium-molecular toxic substances, products of incomplete metabolism from the contents of the intestine and blood (through the membranes of the capillaries of the intestinal mucosal villi), promotes the excretion of incorporated radionuclides. Enterosgel ExtraCaps eliminates the manifestations of toxicosis, improves the function of the intestine, liver, kidneys, normalizes blood and urine parameters. As an effective detoxifier, Enterosgel ExtraCaps helps to increase immunity.
Pharmacokinetics. The drug envelops the mucous membrane of the stomach and intestines, protecting it from erosive processes. It is not absorbed in the intestines.
Indication
As part of complex detoxification therapy for chronic renal failure caused by pyelonephritis, polycystic kidney disease, nephrolithiasis; for toxic hepatitis, viral hepatitis A and B, hepatocholecystitis, liver cirrhosis and cholestasis of various etiologies, gastritis with low acidity, enterocolitis, colitis, diarrhea; for alcohol and drug poisoning; allergic reactions, skin diseases (diathesis, neurodermatitis), burn intoxication; purulent-septic processes accompanied by intoxication; toxicosis of pregnant women in the first half of pregnancy; in complex therapy for intestinal dysbacteriosis.
Application
Enterosgel / Enterosgel with sweet taste
Take orally 3 times a day 1.5-2 hours before or 2 hours after meals or taking medications, with plenty of water.
For adults and children over 14 years of age, a single dose is 15 g (tablespoon), daily dose is 45 g.
For children from birth to 5 years: a single dose is 5 g (teaspoon), daily - 15 g; at the age of 5-14 years - a single dose is 10 g (dessert spoon), daily - 30 g.
The course of treatment is from 7 to 14 days. In severe forms of the disease, a double single dose may be used during the first three days, and in the case of a chronic course of the disease (chronic renal failure), a longer (up to 1 month) use of the drug is possible.
Enterosgel ExtraCaps
Take 1-2 capsules 2-3 times a day, 1.5-2 hours before or 2 hours after meals or medications, with plenty of water.
For adults and children over 14 years of age, a single dose is 1-2 capsules, daily dose is 6 capsules.
For children aged 6-14 years, a single dose is 1 capsule, daily dose is 3 capsules.
The course of treatment is from 7 to 14 days.
In severe forms of the disease, a double single dose is used during the first 3 days, and in the case of a chronic course of the disease (chronic renal failure, cirrhosis of the liver), longer use of the drug is possible.
Contraindication
Acute intestinal obstruction. Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
Side effects
When taking the drug, dyspeptic phenomena are possible. In the first days of taking the drug, constipation may develop. To prevent it, people prone to constipation are recommended to perform a cleansing enema at night or use laxatives (lactulose, sodium picosulfate) in the first 2 days of taking the drug. Hypersensitivity reactions are possible.
Special instructions
Provided that the method of administration is followed (Enterosgel medicinal products are taken at intervals of 1.5-2 hours), the drug can be used in complex therapy with other medicinal and prophylactic agents, including prebiotics and probiotics (bifidum, lactobacilli), herbal preparations, adaptogens, and immunomodulators.
Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. The drug can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Use should be limited to pregnant women who are prone to constipation.
Children. Enterosgel / Enterosgel with sweet taste. The drug is used in children from birth. For children under 2 years of age, a single dose of the drug is mixed with a small amount of water before use.
Enterosgel ExtraCaps. The drug can be used in children from 6 years of age. To facilitate swallowing, you can pre-open the capsule (single dose) and mix it with a small amount of liquid before use.
The ability to influence the reaction speed when driving vehicles or other mechanisms. Does not affect.
Interactions
The drug should not be used together with silver preparations.
Enterosgel ExtraCaps. Subject to the method of application (Enterosgel ExtraCaps and drugs are taken separately), the drug can be used in complex therapy with other drugs and prophylactic agents, including bacterial drugs (bifidum, lactobacilli), herbal preparations, adaptogens, immunomodulators. Simultaneous administration with drugs of the bile acid sequestrant class, such as cholestyramine, is not recommended due to the increased likelihood of constipation.
The drug should not be used simultaneously with silver preparations.
Overdose
Cases of drug overdose have not been described. In case of overdose, side effects may be intensified.
Storage conditions
