Equator tablets are indicated for essential hypertension in adults.

Composition

Active ingredients: lisinopril, amlodipine;

1 tablet contains lisinopril 20 mg (as 21.76 mg of lisinopril dihydrate) and amlodipine 5 mg (as 6.94 mg of amlodipine besylate);

Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose (type 101), microcrystalline cellulose (type 12), sodium starch glycolate (type A), magnesium stearate.

Method of application

The drug is intended for oral use. The tablets can be taken regardless of meals.

You should refrain from driving or operating machinery until the patient's individual reaction to the drug is determined.

Overdose

Symptoms associated with overdose with ACE inhibitors may include hypotension, electrolyte imbalance, renal failure, hyperventilation, tachycardia, palpitations, bradycardia, dizziness, anxiety and cough.

Overdose may lead to excessive peripheral vasodilation with reflex tachycardia. Severe and prolonged systemic hypotension, up to shock with fatal outcome, has also been reported.

Interaction

Concomitant use of lisinopril with other antihypertensive agents (e.g. nitroglycerin, other nitrates or other vasodilators) may further reduce blood pressure.

When used simultaneously with ethanol, it enhances the hypotensive effect of lisinopril.

The hypotensive effect of amlodipine is enhanced by the corresponding effect of other drugs that have antihypertensive properties.

Storage conditions

Store at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C in the original packaging to protect from light and moisture.
