Composition
1 capsule contains: active ingredients:
- saccharomyces boulardii Lynside® Pro SCB (Saccharomyces boulardii CNCM I-3799) - 250 mg (mg) [contains 2.0x1010 CFU (CFU) in 1 g (g)*],
- zinc (in the form of zinc gluconate) – 10.0 mg (mg), which corresponds to 68.0%*;
- excipients: filler: maltodextrin; capsule shell: gelatin or capsule shell: gelatin, dye: titanium dioxide, or capsule shell: gelatin, dye: iron oxide.

Saccharomyces boulardii CNCM I-3799 have a direct antimicrobial effect, and the mechanism of action of Saccharomyces boulardii is associated with their ability to inhibit the growth of pathogenic and opportunistic microorganisms and fungi, such as Clostridium difficile, Clostridium pneumona Candida candida krusei, Salmonella enteritidis, Escherichia coli, Shigella dysenteriae, Shigella flexneri, Klebsiella, Proteus, Vibrio cholerae, as well as Enthamoeba hystolitica, Lambliae; Enterovirus, Rotavirus.
Saccharomyses boulardii is included in the treatment protocol Management of Helicobacter pylori infection.
Among the main mechanisms of action of CNCM I-3799 is the production of proteases that break down bacterial toxins and affect the receptors of the small intestinal epithelium, to which toxins can bind. CNCM I-3799 also reduces the secretion of water and electrolytes into the intestinal lumen (which is especially important for reducing the intensity of diarrhea). This is achieved by reducing the production of cyclic adenosine monophosphate in the cells of the small intestinal epithelium.
The natural resistance of CNCM I-3799 strains to antibiotics allows them to be used simultaneously with antibiotics.
In addition, the ability of CNCM I-3799 to enhance the immune defense of mucous membranes by increasing the production of IgA and secretory components of other immunoglobulins was established.
Saccharomyces boulardii is included in the treatment protocol for diseases caused by Helicobacter pylori infection according to the Maastricht Consensus 6th revision (2022).
Zinc is a key mineral used by cells for nutrient metabolism. It has anti-inflammatory, wound healing, antioxidant and antibacterial effects, and is also responsible for the transport of water and electrolytes in the intestine. Clinical studies show that zinc has a beneficial effect on the clinical course of acute diarrhea, reducing both the severity and duration. The absorption of zinc varies significantly depending on its form, so the absorption of zinc gluconate reaches up to 60.9% and is one of the most effective forms of zinc for consumption. In addition, zinc gluconate is included in the WHO recommendations for the treatment and prevention of diarrhea.
Recommendations for use
As a dietary supplement to the diet, as an additional source of biologically active substances that have a beneficial effect on the functional state of the intestine in order to normalize the intestinal microflora after taking antibiotics, as well as to normalize the functioning of the large intestine in case of its functional disorders.
It is not a medicine.
Method of administration and recommended daily dose
Children over 12 years of age and adults should take 1-2 capsules 1-2 times a day. The capsules should be swallowed without chewing, with sufficient drinking water. Do not mix with very hot (over 50 °C) or cold drinks, food, or liquids containing alcohol. It is recommended to consult a doctor before use.
Application period
10-14 days.
The maximum period of use is 30 days.
Precautions for use
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Dietary supplement should not be used as a substitute for a balanced diet.
Contraindication
Pregnancy, lactation period, children under 12 years of age and increased individual sensitivity to any of the components.
Storage conditions
Store in the original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C in a dry place, protected from direct sunlight and out of the reach of children.
