Composition

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to other components of the drug. Children under 12 years of age.

Method of application

The tablet should be placed on the tongue. Any liquid is not required. Eating does not affect the effectiveness of the drug.

The recommended dose for adults and children over 12 years of age is 10 mg (1 tablet) once a day, in serious cases the daily dose is 20 mg.

Application features

The drug should be used with caution in patients with prolonged QT syndrome, hypokalemia, and in concomitant treatment with other drugs that prolong the QT interval or inhibit the CYP3A4 enzyme, such as azole antifungals (e.g., ketoconazole, itraconazole) and macrolides (e.g., erythromycin).

Pregnant women

It is recommended to avoid the use of ebastine during pregnancy.

Children

The medicine is not recommended for use in children under 12 years of age.

Drivers

The drug in recommended therapeutic doses does not affect the reaction rate when driving vehicles or working with complex mechanisms.

Overdose

In studies conducted with high doses of the drug, no clinically significant signs or symptoms were observed when doses up to 100 mg were used once daily.

Side effects

Immune system disorders: hypersensitivity reactions (anaphylaxis and angioedema).

From the psyche: nervousness, insomnia.

From the nervous system: drowsiness, headache, dizziness, hypoesthesia, dysgeusia.

Cardiac: palpitations, tachycardia.

Storage conditions

Store in the original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 25ºС.

Keep out of reach of children.
