Today, sweet orange essential oil is one of the most popular oils in the world, with its unique therapeutic effect and invigorating aroma, it helps against skin blemishes, is excellent for oily and inflamed skin, nourishing and restoring it. It is also useful for dry and brittle hair, effectively fights cellulite and stretch marks, helps restore the skin to its former elasticity. As a good deodorizer, it easily eliminates unpleasant odors in rooms, has a softening and soothing effect on the whole body and is an optimistic aroma.

Contraindication

For external use only. Test individually, avoid overdose. In case of contact with eyes, rinse with plenty of water. Use with caution in pregnancy, hypertension and epilepsy. Essential oil applied to sensitive skin may cause skin irritation when exposed to sunlight. Therefore, do not apply the oil to the skin less than 1 hour before sunbathing.

Other interactions

The delicate aroma of orange blends well with ylang-ylang, sandalwood, juniper, neroli, jasmine, rosewood, cypress, cinnamon, frankincense, rosemary, and clary sage. Sweet orange essential oil blends best with other citrus and coniferous oils. It blends especially well with lavender essential oil in a 1:1 ratio.

Recommendations for use

Enrichment of cosmetic products: mix 3-5 drops of orange essential oil with 10-15 g (ml) of base (oil, cream, tonic, lotion, mask, etc.). Massage: mix 4-5 drops of orange essential oil with 1-2 tablespoons of vegetable oil (peach, almond, jojoba, etc.) or cream of your choice. For children: 1 drop per 2 tablespoons of peach oil. Baths: add 5-7 drops of peach essential oil to a full bath (37-38 ° C), pre-mixed with 1-2 tablespoons of emulsifier (milk, honey, sea or table salt). Procedure time: 10-15 minutes. For children, 1 drop of orange essential oil, diluted in 1 tablespoon of milk, per bath. Duration of the procedure: 10-20 minutes. Sauna: Add 5-10 drops of essential oil or a blend of essential oils to a container with a small amount of hot water and place it on the top shelf of the steam room. Room aromatization: Orange essential oil deodorizes the room and creates a festive atmosphere. Add 5-6 drops of pure orange essential oil or a blend of other essential oils to an aroma lamp filled with water and light a candle. The aroma will fill the room. If you do not have an aroma lamp, you can apply the oil to a napkin or add it to a cup of hot water and place it on a radiator. The procedure should last 15-30 minutes. 1-2 drops of essential oil are enough to aromatize a child’s room.
