Salvia Officinalis essential oil is an essential oil obtained from the flowering shoots of Salvia officinalis. Its fresh aroma has a calming and soothing effect on emotions. This oil is useful for students, schoolchildren and people who need to remember a lot of information, as its aroma increases the capacity and performance of memory. The oil helps to care for oily skin with enlarged pores, it is used to restore elasticity and firmness of the skin and for rejuvenation in general. Sage essential oil also eliminates excessive sweating and unpleasant body odors, so it is often used as a component of deodorants for excessive sweating. But the brightest cosmetic quality of sage is its ability to restore strength and tone of hair.

Properties

Sage essential oil is a mobile liquid from light yellow to greenish yellow in color with a woody, herbal odor. The aroma of this oil is fresh, cold, smoky, tart, spicy-herbal, camphor-like.

In perfumery, clary sage essential oil is used in relatively small quantities, mainly in men's perfumery. It is added to chypre, perfume, cologne, and spicy men's aftershave and toilet water fragrances.

Contraindication

Subject to individual testing, avoid overdose. In case of contact with eyes, rinse with plenty of water. Do not use in children under 6 years of age, during pregnancy and breastfeeding, with epilepsy and high blood pressure. Do not use simultaneously with drugs containing iron and alcohol.

Method of administration and dosage

Enrichment of cosmetics: add 3-5 drops of sage oil or a mixture of sage oil with other oils to 10-15 grams (ml) of base (oil, cream, lotion, conditioner, shampoo, etc.).

Massage: mix 4-5 drops of clary sage oil or a mixture of clary sage oil with other oils with 1-2 tablespoons of any vegetable oil (peach, almond, jojoba, etc.) or cream of your choice.

Baths: add 7-10 drops of sage oil or a mixture with other oils, pre-mixed with 1 tablespoon of emulsifier (milk, honey, sea or table salt) to a full bath (37-8 ° C). Duration of the procedure is 10-15 minutes.

Room aromatization: add 2-3 drops of sage oil or one of the oil compositions to an aroma lamp filled with water and light a candle. The aroma will fill the room. If you do not have an aroma lamp, you can apply the oil to a napkin or add it to a cup of hot water and place it on a radiator. You can use essential oils for a diffuser. Duration of the procedure: 15 - 30 minutes.

Storage conditions

Keep tightly closed in a place inaccessible to children at a temperature not exceeding +25 ° C. Avoid direct sunlight.
