Eucerin Aquaporin Active for normal to combination facial skin is a refreshing moisturizer that enhances the skin's own moisture system and leaves the skin smooth, supple and radiant.

Our skin needs moisture to function properly and effectively. Well-hydrated skin is smooth, supple and looks radiant. When the skin's natural barrier is compromised, it loses moisture and becomes dehydrated. Dehydrated skin looks dull, feels hard and tight, and is unable to block out external irritants. As a result, it becomes sensitive. Intensive and long-lasting hydration is essential for skin to look and feel its best.

Most moisturisers improve skin hydration by limiting water evaporation from the skin’s surface and/or by trapping moisture in the upper layers of the skin with ingredients such as Glycerin. However, skin has its own hydration system – Aquaporins. These transport moisture between skin cells and maintain hydration from within. Eucerin Aquaporin boosts their natural power. The formula contains Glyco-Glycerol, an ingredient that has been shown to increase the number of Aquaporins in the skin. This means that in addition to reducing moisture evaporation from the outer layers of the skin, Eucerin Aquaporin Active also improves the skin’s own hydration system.
