Description

Eucerin DermoPURIFYER Mattifying Concealer has a dual action on breakouts: it reduces blemishes, conceals imperfections and soothes irritation. When used daily on affected areas, Salicylic Acid has a comedolytic effect, opening clogged pores and soothing the skin.

Carnitine regulates the production of sebum by promoting the absorption of fatty acids in the mitochondria and converting them into energy. Thus, fatty acids can no longer be converted into sebum, so its amount is significantly reduced. Local application of Carnitine to the skin can significantly reduce the amount of sebum.

The skin's own substance, Lactic Acid, enhances the keratolytic and comedolytic effects. Lactic Acid is a natural moisturizing factor (NMF) and pH regulator.

The active ingredient Decanediol has proven excellent antibacterial properties, especially against bacteria (Propionibacterium acnes) that cause blemishes, and also relieves irritation. In addition, this component retains moisture in the skin.

Anti-inflammatory Licochalcone A actively cares for inflamed skin areas, minimizes the risk of irritation and soothes redness.

Clinical trials

In the first quarter of 2008, 25 men and women aged 13-43 participated in a clinical study to test the effectiveness of Eucerin DermoPURIFYER Mattifying Concealer. Each had problematic, acne-prone skin or mild comedones.
