Composition
active ingredients: oxidation products of fish oil (with a content of the sum of carbonyl compounds - not less than 0.0034 g-eq.);
Excipients: sodium chloride, purified water.
Dosage form
Solution for external use.
Main physical and chemical properties: transparent yellow liquid with a specific odor. During storage, a light brown precipitate may appear, which is easily broken when shaken.

Pharmacodynamics.
The drug has antibacterial activity against pyogenic microflora: Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Escherichia coli, Proteus, staphylococci. The drug is low-toxic.

Indication
Treatment of postoperative and traumatic wounds complicated by purulent infection; wounds that granulate slowly and do not heal for a long time; boils; carbuncles; fistulous forms of osteomyelitis; burns; trophic ulcers with suppuration.

Method of administration and doses
Extericide® should be applied topically undiluted as a monotherapy or in combination with other drugs.
Treat infected wounds by washing them with Extericide® followed by applying gauze pads soaked in the preparation. Washing should be done twice a day until the purulent discharge disappears, after which washing and dressing should be done once every 3–4 days until the wounds are completely healed.
When treating infected burns using the open method, use Extericide® with novocaine: add 10 ml of 0.5% novocaine solution to 50 ml of the drug. Irrigate the wound surface every 6–8 hours. When using the closed method, apply bandages well moistened with the drug to the burn surface 2 times a day with an interval of 6–8 hours. Irrigate the lower layer of the bandage with Extericide® without removing it. These manipulations are carried out until the pus disappears completely.
In case of osteomyelitis after sequestrotomy (sequestrectomy), the wound should be loosely packed with gauze pads well moistened with Extericide®. Wounds should be bandaged every 3–4 days.
Treatment of carbuncles and boils after their opening and evacuation of purulent masses is carried out by applying gauze napkins well moistened with the drug to the wound. The first 2–3 days of dressing should be done daily, and then once every 2–3 days.
Children.
There is no experience with the use of the drug in children.

On the part of the immune system: in rare cases, allergic reactions are possible, including local: edema, hyperemia, itching, skin rash; Quincke's edema.
