Active ingredients: microencapsulated iron pyrophosphate coated with starch and lecithin (Lipofer® microcapsules) 384.62 mg (mg), incl. iron 30 mg (mg); Quatrefolic® (glucosamine salt of (6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolic acid) 0.74 mg (mg), incl. folic acid 400 mcg; other ingredients: stabilizers: microcrystalline cellulose, cross-linked sodium carboxymethylcellulose, polyvinylpyrrolidone; thickener: mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids; anti-caking agents: magnesium salts of fatty acids, silicon dioxide.

Recommendations for use

It can be recommended as a dietary supplement for adults as an additional source of highly bioavailable iron (Lipofer® microcapsules) and folic acid in the bioactive form Quatrefolic®.

Iron contributes to the normalization of cognitive functions of the brain, energy metabolism, the formation of red blood cells and hemoglobin, the transport of oxygen in the body, and also plays a role in the process of cell division. It helps strengthen the immune system, reduces fatigue and tiredness.

Folic acid promotes maternal growth during pregnancy, normalization of amino acid synthesis, hematopoiesis, homocysteine metabolism, energy metabolism, normal functioning of the immune system, and mental performance. Supplemental folic acid intake to increase folate levels in pregnant women is a prevention of neural tube defects in the fetus.

Dosage and use

Recommended daily intake: 1 tablet per day for adults. The beneficial effect is achieved with daily intake of folic acid, 400 micrograms (mcg) for at least 1 month to 3 months after conception. The course and period of use are determined by the doctor individually.

Individual hypersensitivity to the ingredients. Not recommended for children. Breastfeeding women should consult a doctor before using the drug. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Do not use as a substitute for a full diet.
