Pharmacological properties

It has a local anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipruritic effect, exhibits desensitizing properties, antiviral activity against herpes viruses (herpes simplex and herpes zoster), and also stimulates reparative processes in the skin.

Indication

It is used in adults and children as a means for the local treatment of various dermatitis - all forms and stages of psoriasis, allergic, atopic (especially in the subacute period and during the period of fading of the process), perioral and seborrheic dermatitis, neurodermatitis, photodermatoses, toxidermia, as well as for the treatment of herpes of various localization and shingles.

Application

For dermatitis of various origins, herpes and shingles, the ointment is applied in a thin layer, lightly rubbing, to the affected area of the skin 2-4 times a day, preferably from the moment the first signs of the disease appear. The duration of the course of treatment is 5-14 days. For psoriasis, the drug is applied under waxed paper 1-2 times a day. The course of treatment is 10-30 days or more, especially in the case of large-plaque forms. Depending on the results achieved and in cases of relapses, the course of treatment with Fladex ointment can be repeated 2-3 or more times.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to the drug.

Side effects

A burning sensation is possible, which disappears after temporary discontinuation of the drug.
