FLORAFAN® is a combined dietary supplement that, along with a unique multiprobiotic complex of lactic acid bacteria, includes products of their metabolism and prebiotics - inulin and lactulose.
The synbiotic FLORAFAN® is a new generation biocorrector with multifunctional properties, which not only replenishes the deficiency of important elements for the body, but also normalizes the microbiocenosis of the human intestine, while exhibiting immunomodulatory, detoxifying, antimutagenic, cholesterol-metabolizing, and antitumor effects.
Composition
1 capsule contains not less than 1·1010 CFU of lyophilized probiotic bacteria: Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactobacillus delbrueckii subsp. bulgaricus, Lactobacillus fermentum, Lactobacillus rhamnosus, Lactobacillus casei subsp. сasei, Streptococcus thermophilus, Bifidobacterium bifidum, Bifidobacterium longum, Bifidobacterium adolescentis, Propionibacterium freudenreichii subsp. Shermanii; their waste products; prebiotics: inulin – 10% and lactulose – 10%.
Excipient: microcellulose.

Properties of active components:
Lactobacteria (Lactobacillus, Lactococcus) – regulate the number of opportunistic and putrefactive microorganisms, maintaining the optimal microflora for the human body, promote the breakdown of cholesterol, thereby reducing its level in human blood, normalize digestion and support immunity, thanks to the preservation of nutrients, vitamins and antioxidants.
Bifidobacteria (Bifidobacterium) - cover the intestinal walls, reduce the likelihood of influenza and acute respiratory infections, strengthen immunity, participate in the formation of lactic and acetic acids, the synthesis of amino acids, proteins and vitamins, enhance the absorption of calcium ions, iron and vitamin D, inhibit the growth of pathogenic microflora and support the processes of parietal digestion.
Propionic acid bacteria (Propionibacterium) – participate in symbiotic digestion, while accumulating organic acids (mainly propionic and acetic), which prevent the reproduction of pathogenic and conditionally pathogenic microorganisms, improve the health of the intestines. . Synthesize special antibacterial components (propionines), which are active against enterobacteria, putrefactive bacteria, fungi, etc. Stimulate the growth of bifidoflora, exhibit antiviral activity and antioxidant properties.
Thermophilic streptococci (Streptococcus thermophilus) ferment lactose (milk sugar) and are therefore used for lactose deficiency, reduce active acidity, providing a bactericidal effect on pathogenic microorganisms.
Metabolic products
As a result of the action of metabolic products, there is effective adhesion of beneficial bacteria in the gastrointestinal tract, as well as stimulation of the person's own microflora by increasing the rate of reproduction of beneficial bacteria.
Lactulose – activates the development of bifidobacteria, promotes the absorption of minerals in the body, stimulates liver function, has a positive effect on the process of removing carcinogens and toxins from the body, stimulates stool in case of constipation, and reduces the production of secondary bile acids.
Inulin – stimulates the growth and activity of bifido- and lactoflora, increases calcium absorption in the colon, and has a positive effect on lipid metabolism.
Microcellulose – enhances the action of lactic acid bacteria and contributes to the stability of the dietary supplement.
Recommendations for use
It can be recommended by a doctor in dietary diets as an additional source of live probiotic bacteria, metabolic products and prebiotics to normalize the qualitative and quantitative composition of beneficial intestinal microflora in case of imbalance:
- due to intestinal infections of bacterial, viral and fungal origin;
- during or after antibiotic therapy;

Method of administration and doses
Adults and children over 12 years old - 1-2 capsules, children over 3 years old - 1 capsule per day 30 minutes before meals.
It is unacceptable to take with hot food or liquid. Can be used during pregnancy and lactation.
Can be used after the end of a course of antibiotic therapy, as well as during it, but not earlier than 2 hours after taking the antibiotic.
