Composition

1 bottle of 30 ml (ml) contains: active ingredients: N-acetylcysteine 1.8 g (g), sodium chloride 0.9 g (g); excipients: sodium hydroxide, sodium edetate, purified water.

Without synthetic preservatives.

Properties

Nasal spray "FLU-ACYL rhino" is a medical product based on 3% hypertonic saline solution, pH-controlled, and 6% N-acetylcysteine. Nasal spray "FLU-ACYL rhino" thins thick viscous mucus due to the physical and mechanical effects of its components.

Sodium chloride.

Hypertonic saline solutions applied directly to the mucosa of the upper respiratory tract draw water from the intracellular to the extracellular space by osmosis. This increases the percentage of water in the nasal secretions lining the epithelium, thinning them and thus facilitating their removal;

N-acetylcysteine.

The acetylated variant of the amino acid cysteine exhibits mucolytic activity upon direct contact with mucus. This is due to the presence of sulfhydryl radicals in the molecule, which are capable of destroying disulfide bonds of mucoproteins that give mucus viscosity by depolymerization. It has an indirect antioxidant effect, which is associated with an increase in the synthesis of the antioxidant compound glutathione, as well as a direct antioxidant effect, protecting cells from damage by free radicals.

Indications for use

Nasal spray "FLU-ACIL Rhino" is a decongestant with mucolytic activity that helps to thin and mechanically remove congested mucous and/or mucopurulent secretions in the nasal cavity (in acute and chronic rhinitis, mucous crusts, vasomotor rhinitis) and in the paranasal sinuses (in acute and chronic sinusitis), alleviate the symptoms and course of acute, subacute and chronic inflammation of the upper respiratory tract.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to the components of the product, children under 3 years of age, pregnancy and lactation.

Method of administration and doses

Shake well before use. To properly use the nasal spray "FLU-ACIL rhino", remove the protective cap, tilt your head back slightly, carefully place the nozzle of the dispenser into the nostril, press the base of the dispenser with two fingers and inject. Repeat this operation with the other nostril. Clean the dispenser and install the protective cap of the dispenser.

Apply 2-3 sprays into each nostril, 2-3 times a day, for no more than 10 consecutive days, depending on the clinical picture. It is recommended to consult a doctor before use.

Reservation

The high concentration of salt in the solution may cause a natural burning sensation after applying the spray. This effect disappears within a few minutes. During application, a sulfur smell may be felt, which in no way affects the safety and quality of the product. The applicator must be washed after each use. It is recommended to carefully close the cap after using the product. Do not use in case of individual hypersensitivity to any of the components of the product. Prolonged use of the product may lead to a sensitizing effect; in this case, it is necessary to stop using it and consult a doctor. Do not use the product after the expiration date indicated on the package. Do not use if the package is damaged. Do not swallow. Avoid contact with eyes. Using the same bottle by several subjects may contribute to the transmission of infection.

Nasal spray 30 ml (ml) in a glass bottle with a vertical sprayer and a protective cap.

Expiration date

2 years from date of manufacture. After first opening, use within 2 months.

Storage conditions

Store at a temperature not exceeding 25 ℃ in a place inaccessible to children, protected from light and heat sources.
