Gripflu tablets are indicated for the symptomatic treatment of colds and flu, accompanied by fever, chills, headache, runny nose and nasal congestion, sneezing, aches and pains in the body.
Composition
Active ingredients: 1 tablet contains:
paracetamol - 500 mg; caffeine - 30 mg; phenylephrine hydrochloride - 10 mg; chlorpheniramine maleate - 2 mg.Excipients: corn starch, sodium methylparaben (E 219), sodium propylparaben (E 217), colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, talc.
Contraindication
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, other xanthine derivatives (theophylline, theobromine). Severe cardiovascular diseases, including conduction disorders, severe atherosclerosis, severe ischemic heart disease. Severe liver and kidney dysfunction. Congenital hyperbilirubinemia, severe arterial hypertension, prostate adenoma with difficulty urinating; bladder neck obstruction, blood diseases, severe anemia, leukopenia, hyperthyroidism, pyloroduodenal obstruction, diabetes mellitus, bronchial asthma, glaucoma, glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, alcoholism, increased excitability, sleep disorders, concomitant treatment with MAO inhibitors (MAOIs) and within 2 weeks after their discontinuation. Method of application
Adults and children over 12 years of age should be prescribed 1 tablet, the interval between doses is at least 4 hours, but no more than 4 tablets per day.
The duration of treatment is determined by the doctor. The maximum period of use without consulting a doctor is 3 days.

Overdose
In case of paracetamol overdose: liver damage is possible in adults who have taken 10 g or more of paracetamol, and in children who have taken the drug at a dose of 150 mg/kg of body weight. Taking 5 g or more of paracetamol can lead to liver damage in patients with risk factors (long-term treatment with carbamazepine, phenobarbital, phenytoin, primidone, rifampicin, St. John's wort or other drugs that induce liver enzymes, regular intake of excessive amounts of ethanol; glutathione cachexia (digestive disorders, cystic fibrosis, HIV infection, starvation, cachexia).
Side effects
Skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders: skin rash, rash on mucous membranes (usually generalized rash, erythematous), itching, urticaria, erythema multiforme, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis (Lyell's syndrome). Immune system disorders: hypersensitivity reactions, including anaphylaxis, anaphylactic shock, angioedema.
