Food for special medical purposes: enteral nutrition
Liquid, ready-to-use, isocaloric mixture (100 kcal/ml) for children over 3 years of age and adults with type 2 diabetes, stress hyperglycemia or at risk of it and those with normal protein and energy requirements.
- It has a low glycemic index (37*).
- Contains 100% soy protein. Soy protein has a positive effect on patients with impaired glucose tolerance, in case of hyperglycemia or diabetes.
- It has a reduced** content of carbohydrates in the form of fructose (insulin-dependent absorption) and starch, which is slowly broken down and absorbed, without causing a rapid and sharp increase in blood glucose levels during and after the mixture is administered.
- High in monounsaturated fatty acids to prevent atherosclerosis. **
- High content of antioxidants (vitamins C and E, selenium), which prevent the development of atherosclerosis. **
- Contains a combination of 6 soluble and insoluble dietary fibers MF6. Dietary fibers reduce the glycemic index. Insoluble fibers normalize intestinal peristalsis (prevention of diarrhea), and soluble fibers provide a prebiotic effect, as they are a nutrient medium for normal intestinal microflora.
- May contain traces of lactose, galactose, gluten, cholesterol.
- Does not contain genetically modified components.
Indications for use
Can be used for tube feeding as the sole or additional source of nutrition in adults and children from 3 years of age with type 2 diabetes, stress hyperglycemia or the risk of its occurrence. During preparation for surgery and in the postoperative period. In critical conditions: burns, sepsis, multiple trauma, stroke. In case of diseases of the gastrointestinal tract (GI): mucositis, enteritis of various etiologies, in particular those caused by radiation and chemotherapy (cholecystitis, pancreatitis, fistulas). In the presence of partial obstacles to the passage of food: tumors and injuries of the head and neck, swallowing and chewing disorders, strictures and obstruction of various parts of the gastrointestinal tract. In conditions associated with loss of appetite and/or refusal to eat: oncological diseases, neurological diseases, mental disorders, liver diseases, cardiopulmonary failure, HIV infection at the stage of AIDS. In case of malnutrition of any etiology.

Nutrison Advanced Diazon, as the sole source of nutrition, is indicated for patients with type 2 diabetes, stress hyperglycemia or at risk of its occurrence with normal energy and protein requirements, who require a diet with a low glycemic index, rich in fiber.

Important information
For enteral use only! Do not use parenterally! Use only under the supervision of a physician! Can be used as the sole source of nutrition. Use with caution in children aged 3 to 6 years. Not a medicinal product.
Contraindication
Do not use in children under 3 years of age. Do not use in patients requiring a low-fiber diet. Do not use in patients with fructosemia or those with hypersensitivity to any of the product's components. Do not administer intravenously.
Recommended consumption period
The duration of consumption is agreed with the doctor.
Storage conditions
Store in a dry and cool place (+5 to +25 °C) and relative humidity no more than 75%. After opening, close the bottle and store in the refrigerator and consume within 24 hours.
