excipients: sorbitol (filler, sweetener), colloidal silicon dioxide (stabilizer).
Properties
FORINAL is a complex of D-mannose and cranberry fruit extract, which is an additional source of biologically active substances - monosaccharides, proanthocyanidins, flavonoids.
FORINAL has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and diuretic properties, oxidizes urine, promotes detoxification of the body and prevents the formation of stones in the kidneys and urinary tract.
D-mannose is a monosaccharide, a component of many polysaccharides and mixed biopolymers of plant, animal and bacterial origin. D-mannose binds uropathogenic microorganisms, forming complexes that are excreted in the urine. D-mannose does not affect carbohydrate metabolism and does not increase blood sugar levels, so it is safe for people with diabetes.
Clinical studies have shown that when taken regularly, D-mannose promotes normal urinary tract function by cleansing and maintaining the health of the bladder mucosa.
Cranberry fruit extract (Vaccinium macrocarpon) contains proanthocyanidins, flavonoids (quercetin, kaempferol, myricetin, hesperidin), sugars, organic acids (benzoic, ursolic, quinic), tannins, vitamins: A, C, E, macro- and microelements: potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, iron.
Proanthocyanidins contained in cranberry fruit extract prevent the adhesion (sticking) of E. coli and other bacteria to the mucous membrane of the ureters and bladder. This effect contributes to the rapid washing out of pathogenic microorganisms, preventing bacterial colonization of the urinary tract and the development of inflammation in order to prevent relapses of the disease.
The active components of cranberries enhance the effect of antibiotics and other antiseptics used for genitourinary infections. Cranberry extract exhibits bacteriostatic properties.
Ursolic acid, which is contained in cranberries, has a diuretic effect. In patients with kidney stones, cranberry fruit extract reduces the amount of ionized calcium in the urine, providing a pronounced preventive effect against the formation of stones, especially considering that (75-85%) of kidney stones consist of calcium salts.
Cranberry fruit extract helps acidify urine due to the content of quinic acid - an acidic compound that is not broken down in the body and is excreted unchanged in the urine. Increasing the acidity of urine reduces the likelihood of calcium and phosphate ions combining into insoluble stones, which in turn reduces the risk of stone formation.
Cranberry pectic substances form insoluble compounds with heavy metals and radionuclides (lead, strontium, etc.), contributing to their elimination from the body and general detoxification.
Thanks to the synergistic action of carefully selected components, FORINAL effectively protects the urinary tract from pathogenic microorganisms, thereby ensuring the health of the bladder mucosa, promoting detoxification of the body and preventing the formation of stones in the kidneys and urinary tract.
Recommendations for use
Recommended as a biologically active food supplement as an additional source of proanthocyanidin D-mannose:
For the prevention of chronic and recurrent cystitis; To increase the remission period in infections of the genitourinary system; Asymptomatic bacteriuria; To prevent the formation of kidney stones.
It is not a medicine.
Method of application
Adults: 1 sachet per day. The contents of the sachet are pre-dissolved in a glass (250 ml) of drinking water.
The recommended duration of treatment is 1 month, or may be changed upon the recommendation of a doctor. If necessary, the course of treatment can be repeated 2 or more times a year after consulting a doctor.
Note
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. For women during pregnancy (up to 12 weeks inclusive) or lactation, use only as directed by a doctor.
Do not use dietary supplements as a substitute for a balanced diet. Consult your doctor before use.
