Composition
1 capsule contains: magnesium diglycinate - 300 mg (mg), vitamin B6 - 10 mg (mg), GABA - 300 mg (mg), saffron - 40 mg (mg), 5-HTP - 50 mg (mg).

General properties
Magnesium diglycinate. Breaks down into ionized magnesium and glycine in the intestines.
Magnesium is a universal divalent cation. Competitively blocking calcium channels, it reduces the excitability of nerve cells, has antispasmodic activity for both smooth and striated muscles, has antiarrhythmic, sedative and mild diuretic effects, gently lowers blood pressure, counteracts calcification (calcification and hardening) of atherosclerotic plaques, prevents apoptosis (programmed death) of nerve cells (blocks the calcium-glutamate-dependent excitotoxicity cascade). Effective for cramps, headaches, apathy, depression, irritation. In the composition of Gammavital, magnesium also acts as a "cover", which allows you to avoid unwanted side effects from taking saffron - a herbal antidepressant.
Glycine is an amino acid, one of the main neurotransmitters in the CNS, which provides protective (protective) inhibition. Improves metabolism in the brain, regulates the activity of glutamate (MMRA) receptors, thereby reducing psychoemotional tension, aggressiveness and conflict, improves mood and social adaptation, optimizes falling asleep, stimulates intellectual functions, and helps restore vegetative balance.
Vitamin B6. Participates in the reactions of protein, fat and carbohydrate metabolism; biosynthesis of neurotransmitters in the CNS (including acetylcholine). Potentiates (enhances) the absorption of magnesium from the gastrointestinal tract and increases its biological effects. Restores the natural formation of gamma-aminobutyric acid by nerve cells.
The combination of magnesium with vitamin B6 leads to a decrease in irritability, nervousness, normalization of sleep, prevention of cardiovascular diseases, normalization of metabolism, increase of the body's defenses, and also improves blood flow in the kidneys and accelerates the elimination of toxins.
GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid, GABA) is the most important inhibitory mediator of the central nervous system, a natural antagonist of the excitatory mediator glutamate, and a nutrient substrate for nerve cells. Improves the functions of attention, motor and emotional control. Optimizes the consumption of oxygen and glucose by nerve cells, improves the energy metabolism of neurons. As part of Gammavital, it has a synergistic effect with magnesium diglycinate.
Saffron is a herbal antidepressant, the main active components are crocin and safranal. It inhibits the reuptake of serotonin, dopamine and noradrenaline, which is manifested in the harmonization of the psycho-emotional state, reduction of anxiety and stabilization of mood. Safranal also acts as an agonist of GABA receptors (synergistically with gamma-aminobutyric acid), which leads to sedation, normalization of the depth and quality of sleep. Crocin has antioxidant and neuroprotective properties, as a result of its use, anxiety is reduced, the psychological state is stabilized, and the reaction to external stimuli is balanced during periods of stress. In addition, saffron extract in studies has shown the ability to reduce appetite (i.e., correct disturbed eating behavior, which correlates with anxiety syndrome), increase libido and improve erectile function.
5-HTP (5-hydroxytryptophan) is an amino acid obtained from a natural source - the seeds of the African plant Griffonia simplex. In the human body, 5-HTP is a biochemical precursor to serotonin, which is also called the "happiness hormone". Serotonin deficiency can be accompanied by depression and/or anxiety, sleep disorders, lack of satiety from food intake, as well as increased blood sugar levels, increased chronic pain (including headaches), and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
Taking 5-HTP helps reduce the impact of stress on the body, helps calm down and relax, improves mood, adapts to jet lag, increases energy and performance, normalizes a healthy sleep and wakefulness cycle, and counteracts depression and migraine attacks.
The combination of 5-HTP and gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) in Gammavital induces increased melatonin production, which significantly reduces the time it takes to fall asleep and improves the duration and quality of sleep.
Recommendations for use
It can be recommended by a doctor to the diet as an additional source of amino acids, carotenoids, magnesium and vitamin B6 for the purpose of general strengthening of the body and its support during chronic stress, prolonged psycho-emotional stress and nervous exhaustion; for sleep disorders and night sleep.
Method of administration and doses
Adults:
for difficulty falling asleep and staying asleep at night - 1-2 capsules before bedtime, washed down with a glass of drinking water;
for chronic stress, prolonged psycho-emotional stress and nervous exhaustion - 1 capsule 2 times a day during meals.
Duration of use: 1-3 months, further duration of use is agreed with the doctor.
Increased individual sensitivity to individual components of the product, children, pregnant and lactating women.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Storage conditions
Store in the original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 25°C in a dry place inaccessible to children.
