The main components of the essential oil extracted from chamomile flowers: alpha-bisabolol, alpha-bisabolol oxides A and B, matricin, chamazulene and acetylene derivatives, phenolic compounds (flavonoids, apigenin, quercetin, patuletin in the form of glucosides, and acetylated derivatives, which have anti-inflammatory properties). Chamomile is used for various gastrointestinal disorders, such as flatulence, inflammation of the gastrointestinal mucosa, diarrhea, colic, bloating, nausea and vomiting. It soothes the stomach and relaxes the muscles that move food through the intestines.
Licorice root extract is a source of proteins, amino acids, polysaccharides and simple sugars, mineral salts (such as calcium, phosphorus, sodium, potassium, iron, magnesium, silicon, selenium, manganese, zinc and copper), pectins, resins, starch, sterols, as well as biological compounds such as triterpenes, saponins (responsible for the sweet taste) and flavonoids. The main compound is glycyrrhizin, which can increase the concentration of prostaglandins in the digestive tract, promoting the secretion of gastric mucus. Increases the secretion of serotonin and prostaglandins in the stomach, which helps reduce its inflammation.
Lemon balm leaf extract contains flavonoids (quercitrin, rhamnocitrin, luteolin), polyphenolic compounds (rosmarinic, caffeic and protocatechuic acids), monoterpenoid aldehyde, monoterpene glycosides, triterpenes (ursolic and oleanolic acids, oils and oleaniterpenolic acid). Biologically active substances stimulate the secretion of gastric juice, improve appetite, and have antispasmodic and sedative effects.
Ginger root extract is a source of various chemical components, including phenolic compounds, terpenes, polysaccharides, lipids and organic acids. Main chemical substances: essential oils zingiberene, zingiberol, limonene, cineole, borneol, linalool, oleoresin, gingerol, micro- and macroelements (zinc, iron, potassium, sodium, calcium salts, magnesium, phosphorus).
