Composition

active ingredients: 1 filter bag (1.5 g) contains a mixture of medicinal plant raw materials: licorice root (Liquiritiae radix) 120 mg, Japanese sophora fruit (Sophorae japonicae fructus) 120 mg, marshmallow root (Althaeae radix) 105 mg, nettle leaf (Urticae folium) 105 mg, peppermint leaf (Menthae piperitae folium) 105 mg, marigold flower (Calendulae flos) 105 mg, chamomile flower (Matricariae flos) 105 mg, sand marigold flower (Helichrysi arenarii flos) 105 mg, rosehip fruit (Rosae pseudo-fructus) 105 mg, calamus root (Calami radix) 90 mg, elderflower flower (Sambuci flos) 90 mg, yarrow herb (Millefolii herba) 90 mg, St. John's wort herb (Hyperici herba) 90 mg, sage leaves (Salviae officinalis folium) 90 mg, wormwood herb (Absinthii herba) 75 mg.

Pharmacodynamics

GASTROFIT exhibits antispasmodic properties, stimulates reparative processes in the mucous membrane of the stomach and duodenum, regulates the functions of the digestive tract, normalizes intestinal motility. It also has choleretic and carminative effects.

Indication

Chronic gastritis with preserved or reduced acid-forming function of the stomach; functional dyspepsia; duodenitis; prevention of relapses and as part of the complex treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers, colitis.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to any component of the drug. Hypertension of stages IIB-III, acute and chronic heart failure, hypokalemia, obstructive jaundice, cholelithiasis with stones over 10 mm in diameter, acute cholecystitis, acute hepatitis, cirrhosis of the liver, acute pancreatitis, croup, obstructive bronchitis, spasmophilia, thrombophlebitis, increased blood clotting.

Special safety precautions

During treatment, intense UV radiation should be avoided.

Interaction with other medicinal products and other types of interactions

With prolonged use simultaneously with cardiac glycosides, adrenocorticosteroids, antiarrhythmic drugs (quinidine), laxatives, thiazide and loop diuretics, water and electrolyte balance disorders are possible.

Ability to influence reaction speed when driving vehicles or other mechanisms

During the period of use of the drug, one should refrain from potentially hazardous activities that require increased attention and speed of psychomotor reactions (driving vehicles and working with complex mechanisms).

Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding

The drug is contraindicated during pregnancy. If necessary, breastfeeding should be discontinued.

Method of administration and doses

Pour 150 ml of boiling water over 2 filter bags, let steep in a closed container for 15 minutes.

Adults and children over 12 years of age should take 150 ml warm 20–30 minutes before meals 3 times a day.

The duration of use is determined by the doctor. On average, the course of treatment is from 1 to 2 months, if necessary, the course can be repeated.

The drug is contraindicated in children under 12 years of age.

Overdose

Possible increased manifestations of adverse reactions, dyspeptic phenomena, edema, increased blood pressure.

The drug is usually well tolerated by patients. However, given its multicomponent composition, mainly in case of individual hypersensitivity to any of the components or in case of violation of the dosage regimen, allergic reactions are possible, including itching, rash, urticaria, dermatitis, skin edema, photosensitivity.
