The drug "Gedelix ® alcohol-free drops" is used for the symptomatic treatment of cough in colds, respiratory diseases, and chronic inflammatory diseases of the bronchi.

Composition

Active ingredient: thick ivy leaf extract (1 ml (31 drops) of solution contains thick ivy leaf extract (Hederae helicis folii extractum spissum) (2.2-2.9: 1) 0.04 g).

Excipients: propylene glycol, glycerin, star anise oil, eucalyptus oil, menthol, peppermint oil.

Contraindication

Method of application

The drug should be taken undiluted, regardless of meals, with sufficient water.

It is recommended that children be given the drug diluted in fruit juice or tea.

The duration of treatment depends on the type and severity of the disease, but even with mild respiratory diseases, treatment should be carried out for at least one week. After the disappearance of the symptoms of the disease, treatment should be continued for another 2-3 days.

The duration of use of the drug without consulting a doctor should not exceed several days.

Overdose

Symptoms: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, gastroenteritis and agitation.

Treatment: symptomatic.

On the part of the immune system: allergic reactions (mainly rash), including shortness of breath, swelling of the mucous membranes, angioedema; rash and urticaria, itching, skin reactions (skin rash), couperose.

Gastrointestinal: Patients with hypersensitivity may occasionally experience gastrointestinal disorders, including nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal pain.

Storage conditions

Store in the original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C, out of the reach of children. Do not freeze.

Shelf life - 5 years (after first opening the bottle - 6 months).
