Gedelix cough syrup 100 ml

The drug "Gedelix ® cough syrup" is used for the symptomatic treatment of cough in colds of the respiratory tract, chronic inflammatory diseases of the bronchi.

Composition

Active ingredient - thick ivy leaf extract (5 ml of syrup contains thick ivy leaf extract (Hedera helix L., folii extractum spissum) (2.2-2.9: 1) 0.04 g (extractant: ethanol 50% (v / v): propylene glycol 98: 2 (m / m)).

Excipients: macrogol glyceryl hydroxystearate; star anise oil; hydroxyethyl cellulose; sorbitol solution 70%, non-crystallizing (E 420); propylene glycol; glycerin; purified water.

Contraindication

Method of application

"Gedelix ® cough syrup" should be used undiluted, regardless of meals, with sufficient liquid (preferably water).

The duration of treatment depends on the type and severity of the disease, but even with mild respiratory diseases, treatment should be carried out for at least one week. After the disappearance of the symptoms of the disease, treatment should be continued for another 2-3 days.

The duration of use of the drug without consulting a doctor should not exceed several days.

Use of the drug for different age groups:

The product comes with a 5 ml measuring spoon, which has divisions of 1/4, 1/2 and 3/4, corresponding to 1.25 ml, 2.5 ml and 3.75 ml.

If the patient's condition does not improve, the symptoms persist for a long time (more than 4-5 days), or if attacks of shortness of breath appear, purulent sputum or sputum with blood appears, as well as if the body temperature rises, you should immediately consult a doctor.

Children

Overdose

Symptoms: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, gastroenteritis and agitation.

Treatment is symptomatic.

Side effects

Gastrointestinal tract: uncommon (> 1/1,000, <1/100) - gastrointestinal disorders, including nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, may occur in patients with hypersensitivity.

Immune system: very rarely (> 1/10,000) - allergic reactions, including shortness of breath, angioedema, dyspnea, exanthema and urticaria, itching, skin reactions (skin rash), couperose.

Storage conditions

Store at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C, out of the reach of children. Do not freeze.

Shelf life - 5 years (after first opening the bottle - 6 months).
