Composition

Sodium hyaluronate 0.4%, sodium phosphate dibasic dodecahydrate, sodium phosphate monobasic, sodium chloride, water.

Description

GILAYS® is a sterile ophthalmic solution. The package contains one 10 ml bottle, equivalent to more than 250 drops, the bottle is equipped with an innovative patented multi-dose ophthalmic push-type dispenser (OSD), without preservatives.

OSD protects the solution from potentially harmful bacteria, the solution remains sterile for 120 days after first use.

GILAYS® - 0.4% ophthalmic solution of high molecular weight sodium hyaluronate, a product of biotechnological synthesis. Sodium hyaluronate has mucomimetic, mucoadhesive and viscoelastic properties, due to which it improves the stability of the tear film and provides comfort to the eye surface - lubrication, hydration and protection.

Recommendations for use

The moisturizing and protective properties of hyaluronate help eliminate irritation, dryness, burning and foreign body sensation in the eyes due to environmental influences, namely wind, sun, dry air, salt water, smoke, too bright light, air conditioning, heating, prolonged computer work, or, in the case of eye surgery, conjunctivitis or frequent or prolonged use of contact lenses.

Method of administration and doses

1 drop in the eye 2-3 times a day, as needed.

Instill one drop into the eye, gently squeezing the bottle.

Reservation

Do not use if the bottle is damaged.

Do not use in case of exposure to quaternary ammonium compounds.

Do not use in case of sensitivity to any of the components.

Do not use after the expiry date stated on the bottle and outer packaging.

Do not touch the surface of the eye with the tip of the bottle.

After application, in rare cases, slight short-term blurred vision may occur due to the viscosity of the solution. Given this, it is recommended to wait a few seconds before starting activities that require clear vision.

The interval before instillation of any other ophthalmic agent for external use should be at least 10 - 15 minutes.

The shelf life after opening the bottle is 120 days.

After use, the bottle should be disposed of properly.

Keep out of reach of children.

Do not swallow.

The medical device is intended for ophthalmic use only.

Store at room temperature.

The medical device is generally intended for continuous use for no more than 30 days; if symptoms persist, a doctor should be consulted.

The medical device contains phosphates. In some patients with severely damaged corneas, corneal calcification has been observed in rare cases when eye drops containing phosphates were used; therefore, use in the treatment of patients with significantly damaged corneal surfaces (e.g., severe corneal erosion or ulceration) is not recommended.
