Composition

Description

Vaginal gel GINODEC 0.5% contains decamethoxine and hyaluronic acid. The gel has a homogeneous viscous consistency, is odorless. The gel maintains the pH and moisture of the vaginal mucosa, thereby helping to form normal microflora, protects against various infections, eliminates discomfort and dryness in the genitals. Decamethoxine has an antimicrobial, antifungal effect and concentrates on the cytoplasmic membrane (CPM) of the microbial cell and combines with the phosphatide groups of membrane lipids, disrupting the permeability of the CPM of microorganisms. Decamethoxine has high activity against microorganisms resistant to antibiotics. Decamethoxine is not absorbed by mucous membranes, intact skin and wound surfaces. Hyaluronic acid has the property of binding water, which ensures the maintenance of moisture in the vaginal mucosa.

Indication

The gel is recommended for infectious and inflammatory diseases of the genitals, prevention of infectious and inflammatory complications in obstetrics and gynecology (before surgery, minor diagnostic operations, before childbirth, artificial termination of pregnancy, before and after the installation of the IUD). The gel is also very effective in conditions accompanied by dryness of the vaginal mucosa (dystrophic changes of the mucous membrane in postmenopause, irritation, burning, itching as a result of frequent douching, diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, taking antibiotics, hormones, contraceptives). Method of administration and doses
