Active ingredients
Gymnema leaf extract (Gymnema Sylvestre) contains a number of active substances that affect glucose metabolism: glycosides (gymnemoside) and gymnemic acid (it reduces the flow of glucose from the intestine into the blood) and gurmarin (it affects the corresponding receptors and reduces the feeling of having a positive effect on metabolic disorders in type I diabetes). Gymnema is used as a hypoglycemic agent that prevents the absorption of glucose and fatty acids from the intestine into the bloodstream and reduces the risk of developing vascular complications in type I and II diabetes. Gymnema enhances the hypoglycemic effect of antidiabetic drugs. The effectiveness of gymnema in diabetes has been clinically proven. Banaba leaf extract (Lagerstroemia speciosa) contains corosolic and gallic acids, which significantly reduce blood glucose and cholesterol levels and promote the breakdown of fats, which is confirmed by clinical studies conducted in specialized clinics. This explains its antihypertensive, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects, which play an important role in improving the quality of life of patients with type 1 diabetes. The components contained in banaba extract increase tissue sensitivity to insulin, contribute to the reduction of excess body weight. Banaba is used for dietary nutrition of patients with excess body weight and diabetes in order to prevent the development of complications and normalize glucose metabolism. Bitter melon extract (Momordica charantia) is an additional source of glycosides, amino acids, saponins (charantin), alkaloids, reducing sugars, vegetable fats and free acids, which are able to safely reduce blood glucose and cholesterol levels in patients with diabetes, stimulate and reduce glucose absorption in the intestine, increase glucose absorption and utilization in peripheral tissues. Charantin, a component of bitter melon fruit extract, has an insulin-like effect, promoting the penetration of glucose into cells. Clinical studies have shown that it reduces glucose levels and stimulates the production of insulin by pancreatic cells. Momordica charantia has a positive effect on carbohydrate and lipid metabolism, and also promotes the regeneration of pancreatic cells.
According to scientific studies, the extracts contained in GLUCEMEDIN® exhibit hypoglycemic activity comparable to the chemical preparations of glibenclamide, with a significantly higher safety profile and a reduced risk of cardiovascular complications.

Standardized plant extracts GLUCEMEDIN® contribute to the breakdown of lipids, correction of excess weight and prevent the accumulation of cholesterol on the inner walls of blood vessels, reduce the risk of vascular complications in type I and II diabetes mellitus, have a positive effect on the functional state of the pancreas; contribute to the improvement of the hormonal background in the body and general well-being, normalization of glucose metabolism and regeneration of pancreatic cells.
Recommendations for use
Adults take 1 capsule 3 times a day with meals, washed down with plenty of drinking water. The course of use is 2-3 months. The course can be repeated if necessary.
