GluNeo Lite test strips #50

GluNEO Lite blood glucose test strips are used with the GluNEO Lite blood glucose meter to measure blood glucose levels.
The GluNEO Lite Blood Glucose Monitoring System is calibrated to blood plasma (results equivalent to blood plasma) for comparison with laboratory methods. GluNEO Lite Blood Glucose Test Strips are intended for in vitro testing (in vitro diagnostic use only). The monitoring system is intended for self-monitoring by individuals with diabetes and for monitoring by healthcare professionals.
Enzyme type: GDH-FAD glucose dehydrogenase using flavin-adenine dinucleotide. This type of enzyme in the test strips minimizes the impact of more than 20 substances that may have an impact, including maltose (contained in kidney medications, lollipops and cough syrup, rye, barley) and galactose, which are dangerous for accurate determination of glucose levels. Hematocrit 20% - 65%, allows for analysis in people of any age. High stability at low and high temperatures. Due to the fact that oxygen does not affect this enzyme, you can use not only capillary blood, but also venous blood for self-testing.
A completely new technology for manufacturing test strips: it is based on improving the composition of the enzyme (GDH-FAD), which reacts with glucose in a way that minimizes the impact of other carbohydrates contained in a drop of blood.
GDH (glucose dehydrogenase) is an enzyme that causes a reaction that extracts electrons from glucose. FAD (flavin adenine dinucleotide) is a coenzyme required for the glucose dehydrogenase enzyme reaction.
Therefore, test strips with GDH-FAD technology (such as the GluNeo Lite strips) do not show reactivity to any sugar other than glucose. They also have better heat and oxygen stability.
Important recommendations:
Before using the GluNeo Lite meter and test strips to determine glucose levels, carefully read the operating instructions.
Do not use blood glucose meter strips after the expiration date indicated on the package or vial, as this may lead to false results.
When opening the test strip container for the first time, mark the expiration date on the label. Any unused GluNeo Lite test strips should be discarded 6 months after opening the container.
Consult your doctor about daily diabetes management using the GluNeo Lite system.
