Description
Grindolis is made for patients suffering from pharyngitis, laryngitis or tracheobronchitis. Grindolis is an original European flavonoid complex based on grindelia extract with anti-inflammatory and anti-asthmatic effects, which helps normalize the viscosity of secretions, reduce sore throat and pain, and soothe dry cough in acute respiratory diseases, flu and colds.
The basis of Grindolis - flavonoids of grindelia relax the smooth muscles of the bronchi, normalize the viscosity of the secretion and improve the secretion of mucus by the bronchial glands due to the effect on leukotrienes.

Grindelia (Grindelia robusta) contains flavonoids (methyl and dimethyl esters of quercetin and kaempferol); grindelic, epoxygrindelic and acetoxygrindelic acids, organic resins; saponins - sapogenin D. biogenin and others; as well as essential oils. The action of these compounds is associated with the ability of grindelia to promote expectoration of sputum, reduce spasm, inhibit the growth and development of some strains of bacteria and fungi. Studies of the extract have demonstrated its ability to promote inflammation by reducing the level of inflammatory mediators and the activity of some enzymes. The listed properties have led to the use of grindelia for inflammation of the upper respiratory tract, colds, asthma, bronchitis and persistent cough.
Acerola (Malpighia punicifolia) exhibits powerful antioxidant properties due to its high vitamin C content, the presence of β-carotene, and mineral salts. In addition, there is evidence of acerola's ability to inhibit the proliferation of certain microorganisms.
Propolis contains a complex of biologically active substances - more than 50 substances. They can be divided into 3 main groups: plant resins (38-60%), balsams (3-30%), wax (7.8-36%, on average 22%). Propolis contains flavonoids and pheno acids, which determine the biological properties of propolis. Ferulic, caffeic, benzoic and other acids are biologically active substances of propolis. These acids have antibacterial properties. For example, ferulic acid inhibits the growth of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, promoting the healing of various wounds and ulcers, and also exhibits choleretic, diuretic, capillary-strengthening and anti-inflammatory properties. Also present in propolis are minerals: potassium, sodium, calcium, phosphorus, iron, magnesium, chlorine, aluminum, sulfur, vanadium, zinc, manganese, copper, mercury, silicon, selenium, zirconium, antimony, fluorine, cobalt and others. Their ratio in propolis has a positive effect on the human body, as it activates the action of the main biological centers of the body, ensuring their rhythmic functioning. For example, manganese, zinc, copper affect the processes of growth, development and reproduction. They regulate metabolism in the body, have a positive effect on the functioning of the gonads. Zinc increases the duration of action of insulin (a pancreatic hormone), has a positive effect on vision. These substances, together with cobalt, perform important functions in the process of hematopoiesis. Propolis is rich in vitamins B1, B2, B6, A, E, nicotinic, pantothenic acid and others.
Peppermint (Mentha piperita) contains menthol, methyl ether, and monoterpene derivatives, which is why the addition of peppermint essential oil contributes, among other things, to antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal effects, as well as anti-edematous effects and a reduction in the formation of biological films on the mucous membrane in the oral cavity and on the surface of the teeth.
Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globulus) contains eucalyptol, monoterpenes, and other biologically active substances that have antiseptic, antibacterial, antioxidant, analgesic, and anti-inflammatory properties, which is why eucalyptus essential oil is used for inflammation of the upper respiratory tract, colds, congestion, and swelling of the sinus mucosa.

Method of application
